  1. Taxi taxi taxi ... lol, here's your taxi to hell.
  2. Unless you want to read through 27 thread-pages of pure nothingness ... spring came and life returned to normal.
  3. Where can I get a T-shirt? ;)
  4. This is one of the two DCS jets I'm interested in (the other one also being delta-shaped). Too bad I didn't see or hear it in Hsinchu last weekend.
  5. Recent events prove a Crimean / Black Sea map to be as potent as ever. Would love to see EDGE showcase this. The only other map that could contend would be the Middle-East.
  6. I'm back from Taiwan business travel and back to my gamerig, so you may release the payload now :-)
  7. Still in Taiwan. Did I miss anything except cheap name-calling?
  8. MiG-23, but I doubt it will happen.
  9. Yes please, but only with Novak.
  10. Good morning from Taiwan business travel. Thank you for the announcement. Indeed it confirmed the "speculation" (mods ...). Looking forward to the MiG-21Bis. Please don't drop the MiG-23 like that (while you have Novak still on the team ...). You cater to a certain market segment (vintage Russian fighter plane aficionados, so I'm hoping for a business model of some sorts ...). Carry on.
  11. After seeing this Kickstarter deliver, I'm left wondering and saddened a bit by the results of the previous one I pledged for. If only RRG Games' DCS: WWII had yielded a quarter of these results ... over £1M now, wow!
  12. Good man! I've purchased the Su-25 recently and flew a couple of times on your server already, as well as the 413th. Loving those old planes.
  13. Objection ... speculative reasoning (^,^)
  14. I'm also a Baron (SE). The sword tiers already sold out when I noticed the game. Hope they can make it to £1000k within the next 2 days, that would be something!
  15. https://robertsspaceindustries.com/comm-link/transmission/13577-Kickstarter-Kingdom-Come-Deliverance With the backing of "Star Citizen"-founder Chris Roberts, will they make the stretch goal of £900k? ~50 hours to go ... Great to see two independent game developers going to share their CryEngine tech. knowledge with each other. Edit: New stretch goal at £1000k has just been added. I so want that "Dog Companion".
  16. Almost £800k tonight ... the 5th stretch goal is in sight (visual in-game fencing lessons and instructional videos on medieval weapons). I hope they will include pulling a shield down with the axe's "hook" and then having your neighbour in the shield wall stab the enemy in the throat (no one pens that down better than Bernard Cornwell). Some of the higher Kickstarter pledges will get a hand-forged sword ... Gotta love these guys for staying close to authentic with this game (bar the hydraulic hammer).
  17. Depends on who you ask. For me they're regular enough. As long as there's some solid news in the update.
  18. True, but I also don't think the developer will ask the world for it.
  19. Since this SAM simulator is free and made by a former SAM battery commander, any plans to integrate this into Combined Arms (to make that the simulator it deserves to be)?
  20. After seeing the female figure in "Character Customization", I really hope they include a "Damsel in Distress" theme that made "Defender of the Crown" so interesting back in the day (well, for me as a 14 yo then anyway).
  21. Well, it served a purpose in that it took away the criticism from the RRG threads ("Where's my update?" changed into "Where's my announcement?"). ;)
  22. A little bit of historical background of the game ... It's 1403, 25 years after Karl IV's death (Czech emperor of the Holy Roman empire). His sons Wenzel (Wenceslaus) and Sigismund are battling for the throne. Sigismund has lured his older brother Wenzel to Rome to force him to abdicate in favour of him. The country is on the brink of civil war and German and Habsburg noblemen are starting to participate in the struggle, building up to the Hussite wars that started after Jan Hus (Czech religious reformer) was burned to death as a heretic by catholics.
  23. It reminds me of the glory days of the C64 and Amiga ... Defender of the Crown. Also Mount & Blade comes to mind. Starting from £15, it's a steal. And they almost made £780k with the KickStarter, with 4 achieved stretch goals.
  24. Interesting, I didn't know the game is based on this period. Brutal times, leading up to the Protestant Reformation period.
