Other (Medieval) Vehicle Sim News ...

It's indeed a medieval sim (one of the team leads has worked on the original OFP, OFP: Resistance and ArmA), that's why I posted this thread starter in the "Other Sims". But for some reason the higher powers found it more worthy of "Chit Chat". The game strives to portray medieval life as closely as possible, using medieval weapons experts motion capture techniques.

Any more history buffs here except me (in particular those who read Bernard Cornwell)?

Is it soon yet? Out of sheer frustration, I bought the Su-25.

The official TM response to replacement grease: "We cannot provide you with the name of a specific brand of grease for your unit but as long as the product you intend to is either mineral based (for metal parts) or silicone based (for plastic parts), then everything is fine. We recommend a silicone based oil/ lubricant/ grease as being the most suitable."

Got that. It seems the newer Warthogs have a different type of grease, so they are less prone to sticking. And some comment that the Tamiya Cera-grease is too thin for a prolonged coating.

Before I go out and buy any, has any consensus been reached on the type of grease to be used? What does TM prescribe?

Welcome to the forum Air_guinness. As Paganus wrote, the (DCS 3rd party) subsection you were linked to is temporarily closed. The MiG-21Bis module is however still a go, and we're waiting patiently for announcements in this section of the forum.

Loving the Bf.109 pit, but hoping the flare gun can be toggled ON/OFF as it's blocking view on the prop pitch and fuel level indicators as well as emergency landing gear lever. Wishing Ilya strenght in winterland; vodka drenched potatoes and tomatoes should keep him warm on the inside.

RNLAF air show, this year at Gilze-Rijen (The Netherlands). This year's theme is air support. It usually has all the big Western-European display teams (Patrouille de France, Frecce Tricolori, Red Arrows), and more.

Sadly, Germany phased out the Phantom last summer.
