  1. Phantom ... hands down.
  2. Has there been a formal from Kinney Interactive on the unsuccessful funding? Or are they too disgusted by the flamewar on this forum to post here again?
  3. Plenty of time to study then ...
  4. Danke sehr! Yes, he was quite an unruly and colourful character (he liked American jazz and one of his friends was black). And a tremendously bald, unconventional and chivalrous pilot. Salut!
  5. No flaps used during take-off for such a heavily loaded bird ... tsk tsk. Prop pitch set to full fine? I wonder what happened to all the ordnance on the wings; during crash landing it disappeared.
  6. I'm sure they will be utterly impressed by such a request. If one doesn't want to fly warbirds, there are plenty of modern era offerings in DCS to date. I for one am very glad DCS/RRG is investing in WWII era planes. The flight envelope seems tighter than modern era planes, which makes for more pure flying in my opinion. Killing a matched aerial opponent with guns or even a ground target with unguided rockets or bombs requires more skill than the fire-and-forget type of ordnance found on modern day fighters. If you're interested in weapons and radar management then stick to modern era planes, if you're interested in pure flying pleasure and engine management then try a warbird ... I'm enjoying both, but more so the vintage ones.
  7. "I'm a Salty Dog pilot". "You park and taxi planes?". There may be a market for it after all. The duel mode of that Robot Vacuum Simulator is pretty cool.
  8. Can't they make the announcement today? After all, today marks the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Prokhorovka (in which my late father got wounded). Or, how about a teaser?
  9. Can't they make the announcement today?
  10. It's about time I would say. I need that FW 190 or better yet, a BF 109.
  11. Indeed, technically it requires a copy of a single file called Falcon4.exe before you can install BMS 4.32. I wonder how a Kickstarter campaign for the Salty Dog 502 X-47B would do ... oh wait, that thing doesn't have a pilot at all.
  12. Although that will probably sound like music to a lot of Falcon BMS gamers, there seems to be quite a hardcore following for that game. Another free flight sim that keeps improving.
  13. Ahahaha ... I hope my gaming rig doesn't turn into a money pit like that. Either way, I'm really looking forward to both Beczl Studio's soon-to-be-released "Fishbed" and Kinney Interactive's hopefully-to-be-released "Lightning".
  14. Understood, schönen Dank for the quick reply and clarification.
  15. It would be a shame if this project would be canned for financial reasons. This is an exciting new jet-fighter, and deserves to be flown in DCS: World. If Beczl can produce a MiG-21 from $15.000,= raised by Kickstarter (original pledge: $13.000,=), I'm sure the F-35 can take off for $30.000,= raised and participation of Beta testers (with the creative part of the fan community providing missions).
  16. DCS: WWII Wurde aber mal Zeit ... freue mich jetzt schon drauf! Can you please start with a BF 109 "Friedrich" F-4 to battle the P-51?
