You are absolutely NOT the only one by just seeing all new thread concerning FPS issue ! And some people here still thinking that OUR PC are the problem whereas is clearly not the case ! It's DCS 1.5.3 the only problem here ! And my game is even worse than yours : [ame] [/ame] Whereas as a french youtubeur I'm making videos for months on DCS 1.5 without any issues...before 1.5.3 (for instance: ) Dev need to fix that issue, I just can't play DCS anymore, it's suttering simulator :cry:

We aren't suppose to have 16Go of ram to have a proper experience when the 1.5 since the beggining worked VERY well concerning my framerate, and damn guys 16Go of ram is a lot of money...

OK thanks guys for details and advices, Mustang I will try your tweak, if it worked for your r9 380 is will work for my r9 280, but I'm out of my home for a week so I will report everything later. I will at the same time reduce a lot my graphic options to see if a graphic option is killing the framerate.

I just tried but nothing changed for me, the game feel like running at 15fps, it's unplayable (even if my game counter is saying I'm at 45fps :noexpression: )

Thanks but I already tried and it still terrible Since 2 updates my framerate dropped to a "unplayable condition" whereas it was perfect some months ago at the release of the 1.5. Here is a video showing you the problem (in fact the video reduced the real framerate, it seems there is 5fps, it was more 15-20fps) [ame] [/ame] I recently upgraded to W10, it is possible to have a impact on DCS ? all my other sim/games work VERY fine ! Edit : Adding details The strange fact about that is that my FPS counter is way over 15fps, It said around 40-50fps on the video, HOWEVER I feel like I was running at 15fps, and the video capture is even worst... Same here, terrible framerate over cities or trees, I move my head I go from 75fps to 30...

I up this, still having this real problem, on W10 it's terrible, 75fps over aera without trees, 30 and many lags over cities !

Thanks to token41 from reddit, I'm back in the Mig21 and all the other work as well ! As he said, I had to delete the "key" folder registery in "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/LeatherneckSimulations/DCS Mig-21bis", then launch the standalone software, in "....\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\MIG-21bis\bin-t4\x86_64", it's named "pcnsl". I entered my key and "tadada !" the Mig is back ! Thanks for having helped me !

Yes And even more issues here, I was suppose to have the update 1.5.2, but when I clicked "proceed" immediatly after the launcher said I was updated to the latest version (without having downloaded anything). And the Mirage 2000 is now working, but not the Mig-21. But it's clear that I'm not running the last version, nothing change, the Mirage still has is bug that was supposed to be fixed with this update, which isn't the case. I think the SSD and migration of windows totally broke DCS...

Hi I added a SSD to my PC and moved Windows on it. Since then, impossible to activate module or even fly, every single launch the game ask me to activate the Mig-21, I do, then an error happen. I have only the Mig-21 pop-up, but all my other module which aren't on Steam (Mig so and my Mirage, for the P-51 or A-10, they are bought from steam and work well) don't work, If I try to fly them, I will be stuck on the map view ! What to I do ? You have to see it in Full HD, not 480p, maybe the plot is not that good (like every other plane movies) and fight are not realistic because they are wayyyy to close... BUT, pictures are just incredible, real footage of the Mirage all the time expect for the end (dogfighting of Paris might not be really good ^^), they put a camera inside the fuel tanks of a 3rd Mirage to capture high speed sequences (of course it was needed for some low pass at mach 1 or looping :p ). I never saw best pictures since this movie. And the DVD/bluray version have making of with many many other filmed sequences not included in the movie. And musics are just perfect with the picture ! A "must see" for any fan on DCS.

The Mirage's missiles are so wrong wow, it's like a rocket with a big drag chute ! It's hard to kill with them, especially the Magic because after the burn they are just useless...

Now the RWR is really hard to use cause of the scale, all thread are way too close, even a F-15, locking me last time at 100nm, and was on the center of the screen....

Hi I flew in multiplayer today, and did some amazing footage in Mirage, however the serveur only allowed F1 view ! And in replay I can't choose other view, F1 still the only one allowed ! So how could I enable other view in the replay to record proper epic footage ? Thank you :smilewink: (sorry I didn't know where to post it)

I Find a way to make it work !! Navigate to the folder where DCS Open Beta is installed, LEFT SHIFT and RIGHT CLICK the "bin" folder and then click "Open Command Window Here". Then type "DCS_Updater.exe update" then hit enter. Et voila! From here : http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=147735

I have exactly the same problem Yesterday, after the 1.5 download update, it failed, I was stuck in 1.2, and DCS_updater wasn't working, it just launched the game. I had to re-install everyting to download again 1.5 And today, same problem : 1.5 hotfix 1 is here, all my friends are doing the update, but my DCS_Updater don't --' If I launch my DCS_Updater, I should have an update, but It just launch the game, I tried to run it as administrator, checked fire-wall and anti-virus...nothing

I would really like the Mirage 2000-5, a "super" Mirage 2000, it could be the a very interesting modern fighter However the Mirage-C is already a amazing plane ! I think the F-4 is going to be make by Leatherneck so.... And the t-6 and A-7....well...again american things and they are especially ugly ^^ A Super Etendard would be cool ! Or maybe a Rafale ! Well I know I know it's just a impossible dream, maybe in 20 years :joystick:

Hi, I have to up this old subject because I have the same problem, I can't connect to multiplayer, whereas yesterday it worked perfectly !! I changed nothing between now and yesterday, I tried to connect without firewall and antivirus, it didn't help. My DCS steam version have the same problem. It's not the first time it happen, but the last time I fix it by re tapping my password, but here it's not working at all ! So, this bug exist for ages ! Nobody know how to fix it ? What I have to do ? Wait ? Thanks
