Majesco, I'm having the same problem as you, as well as having a grass runway. I have ATI 9800 Pro. Maybe my vid card. I uninstalled all other runway mods and still had same problem. So I uninstalled Grand's new mod and reinstalled what I had before. Guess with all these new mods coming out, I will have to invest in a new vid card. SailorDoc

Well this is the latest, first I uninstalled everything with the exception of the game, using MM5. Then I went in and started LO. for some reason that F18 was still there when I hit the Fly button. So somewhere along the line I have probably really hosed up things. So now I have the F18 w/Su30 weapons as well as the Su30 afterburner flames. Who knows maybe its the best of both worlds an F18 w/ Su30 weapons! Any other thoughts greatly apprecaited. TIA SailorDoc

I need some help as I probably did not read the directions properly. I installed the mod using MM5. But when I hit the fly button, I get the F18 with the SU30 weapons, which don't fit, of course. I tried to uninstall the SU30 mod but still get the same results. I have also tried uninstalling anything to do with the F18, still no joy. Any help greatly appreciated. Next time I will read the directions. TIA SailorDoc

Being retired US Navy as well as being stationed aboard USS Nimitz CVN 68, the JFK should have been decommissioned years ago. The only reason why it was not, good ole Senator Teddy Boy. IMHO of course.

Ironhand's tutorials are simply the BEST!! Everything I know about this sim is a direct result of his hard work. He is a real student of LockOn and I just really enjoy watching them over and over, just for the hell of it. Looking forward to having more of them to add to my collection. SailorDoc

I don't know if contacting Ubisoft would help or not. My impression of the whole deal is this. They came out with the great add on that most people that have the original Lock On would want to have. Now that THEY have got you, it's like they don't need you anymore nor are they obligated to provide you with acceptable customer service. They have gotten too big to be worried about the individual. Sounds familiar. Or maybe they are just on an extended Russian holiday. SailorDoc

All I know is that I have sent numerous emails to the various addresses provided and I have not heard one reply. As 9thAF Mac stated "NOT GREAT CUSTOMER SUPPORT...U THINK??". My feelings exactly. Hey, for most people Starforce has been a hinderance and a royal pia, why make things worse with the lousy customer service. At this point I would be happy with just a reply to my lousy email, I really don't care if they give me a f***ing activation code or not. Ok, I've got it off my chest. Thanks for listening. A few months ago someone did a labour of love and converted numerous tutorials to video format. Ironhand has done some great work in the past has recently converted several more. This person was someone else. Does anyone recall and can you provide a link? TIA SailorDoc

I'll try the forum route as I have submitted 4 or 5 emails to support in regards to getting a new activation code. I have yet to get a reply from tech support. I had to install xp as I was getting at least 6 bsod a day. A combination of STOP ERROR codes and memory dumps. So the only thing I knew to do was format and get xp (was using win2k). Any suggestions on getting a new ac or an I just SOL. Thanks SailorDoc

I just picked up a pair of CH Pro Pedals. I have had them working in the past but recently upgraded mobo and cpu. I have had a brain melt down and can't remember how I got the toe brakes to work. The rudders work fine, I just cant seem to get the brakes to work. Can someone shed some light or possible send me a copy of their map? Appreciate the help. SailorDoc

Appreciate the replies. I will continue to practice with Su25T. I thought after a few weeks that I would have improved. Then I began to think that it was possibly due to my HOTAS or the settings. I can appreciate what rl pilots have to go through with this ac. What the hell I need a challenge, but so far the Su is winning. SailorDoc

I have been practicing flying the SU25T for several weeks now. I think I have actually become worse instead of getting a little better. I am using a Thrustmaster HOTAS w/a good profile that I have been using for some time. I have tried several settings within the sim from full curve, dead zone and shift to no curvature at all. The ac is extremely difficult to fly. It takes forever to respond to input commands. It seems I am playing catch up with this ac all the time. I am wondering if a different stick and throttle would help?? I have CH pedals and they work great. Any of you have problems with this ac. Any suggestions? tia SailorDoc

I gotta tell you for a guy that knows absolutely nothing about how these videos are made, I am totally impressed with the talent. Sometimes its difficult at best and I have to remind myself this is only a video and not the real thing. Are these videos made of some super computer or basically just the run of the mill computer? Thanks again for the replies. Brewber19, yes I use your TB profile, its really good. Highly recommended! No I do not fly online, I need to practice a bit more before I venture out. But I do appreciate the offer. I will change my HOTAS controls to linear, instead of trying to figure out the right curvature. So I will keep at it and hopefully I can kill that damn SAM before he takes me out. Great suggestions from all of you, thanks again. SailorDoc

Thanks for the replies. I really like this ac and would like to be able to fly it half way decent. What I am finding is progress with it is slow. I have flown the A10 after flying the Su25t....well there is no comparison. Though the SU is a cooler looking ac. At this point my motto is, "Progress, not perfection."
