why do everyone wants FF? as I asked before, does the real modern fly by ware planes have FF? and also for a massive FF peripheral, I think USB won't provide enough electricity and you will need external adapter for that, maybe that's why manufacturers avoid it. CMIIW.

any new news about this X-55?

isn't with all those fly by wires, real planes don't have force feedback anymore? or I'm assuming wrong?

fair point, but you are missing the point, a benchmark is a standard point against anything else that already existed not something that is yet to exist. so is VRS better than something like Jane's F/A-18? and keep in mind that actually I'm asking about the plane fidelity only, not the sim/environment in which it plugged in... with this, even based on what I only saw I think it's safe to say that VRS is of a superior fidelity than Jane's or any previous F-18 sim so with that alone it's quite worthy as the benchmark for now. I do agree though that they should've ported the VRS into DCS :(

I'm dying to get into DCS in one of the fast mover plane :( how long are we going to have to wait anymore?

good lord, so many f-18 sim are being worked out there, is it that impossible to wish all of them just combine their effort and release it for DCS?

why do they put such feature as priority?

Do you want DCS to cover for xperimental planes that mainly designed to study flight dynamics such as F-15 ACTIVE, F-18 HARV, F-16XL, X-29, X-31 and such? possible scenario is to use such aircraft for high altitude / extreme manouvering guns only dogfight multiplayer :D or of course, aerobatics. such modules don't have to have full blown war avionics, just give it WVR combat capability and guns :D will you buy such modules?

wrong, yhey are releasing individual fc3 jets as dcs x flaming cliffs separate modules/dlcs, no any version of lock on required.

seeing how many steam user seemingly went nuts about achievements, by nuts I mean here is actually positive, I think it's worth to try, it can certainly help some average joe to try a game/sim more seriously and not easily gave up.
