first step in the right direction, but now the Skinners have to mention the module in the topic to not produce a total mess nobody can navigate through..the very best would have been a Skin Subforum under each module..but anyway thx ED for listening

Hi, first are you sure you run the correct Version 1.2.10.32275? Do you use the DCS updater or Steam? Is the FW-190 Module working correctly (can you fly the Dora). Try the following..go to DCS World/mods/ folder, there should be 2 folders named aircraft and aircrafts. Rename the aircrafts folder to aircrafts_old and then do a repair (Start/Programs/Eagle Dynamics/repair DCS World). Also check prior to the repair that your DCS World/_downloads folder is empty!

really a great Skin..so thanks for that one. The only thing I noticed is that the white sides of the fuselage are extremly shiny in the Sun..looks a bit unreal..but could be just my settings:)

ehr..every few days a therad like this creeps out of a dark hole.. So ED has the wrong focus..I think the wide variety of aircraft provided is awesome..and there is way more to come. And finally..there is absolutly no other Game develloper who keeps so close contact with the customers..I mean ED really listens to the community..

Problems..No..in neither way Reinstall after update..yes..like with 99% of all mods So it is strongly recommended to use JSGME (Mod Manager)..makes the handling of mods very easy (like deactivate mods - update - activate mods again)

NO...this Mod makes it even better (I have the same:)). There is no problem running them both!

I guess he means alt + tab between DCS and JSGME:huh:?! But this works not with all mods...some may cause a DCS crash when being disabeld while active.

hopefully for each module..would make skin overview WAY more easy

Naja..die einzige noch relevante Meldung die ich sehe wär: ERROR: Can't copy C:\Users\Kaupe\AppData\Local\Temp\DCS\DCS_updater.exe to C:\Games\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin\DCS_updater.exe: (32) Der Prozess kann nicht auf die Datei zugreifen, da sie von einem anderen Prozess verwendet wird. Versuch doch mal den updater per hand zu kopieren als von C:\Users\Kaupe\AppData\Local\Temp\DCS\DCS_updater.exe nach C:\Games\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin\DCS_updater.exe

yes..I just updated to the newest Version..most of my Dora Settings were gone..not a big deal I thought..I went to Options and tried to load my diff.lua file for the Dora..nothing...so I assigned all manualy again:huh:

The problem might be, that ED fixed the bug what "deleted" the progress..but if you have already updated (the first version of the patch), the progress is gone..so no way to restore with the update. Look at this Post, to restore your progress yourself (at least somehow).

lösch mal alles im DCS World\_download ordner und versuchs nochmal. Das soll wohl noch ein Problem sein

of course every update overwrites 99% of your mods (every mod that changes stockfiles...others like extra Skins or SweetFX are not overwritten)
