  1. Ah...my bad. That check box is only to start the DCS sound module! Duh Thanks Andre
  2. Hi guys, I find I have to manually load SimShaker each time I start DCS despite having checked the launch at DCS start button. Any thoughts on how to remedy this? Thanks Jason
  3. Hi Ian...I'm hoping to at some point use a legit touchscreen device or design something using your BIOS but that may be a ways off. For now just hoping to use my iPAD. Last year I had the iPad working as a CDU but that was with DCS 1.2 Haven't been able to get it sorted in 1.5 or 2.0 quite yet
  4. Hi guys, looking for some suggestions on how best to do this. I tried iControl and Virtual cockpit servers but both seemed to fry my DCS install. Wouldn't load. Repair didn't help so had to do a complete reinstall. Hoping to avoid that nightmare again. How do you guys do it? Thanks Jason
  5. Yea I I'm not using SLI currently. But actually I figured out that it didn't matter that it didn't play well with the NVIDIA control panel. I just configured them in Windows and then found your post/tutorial and monitor.lua to be invaluable. Thank you so much hansangb! Got it all sorted! Sincerely Jason
  6. Private Message sent to you Andre regarding purchasing a JetSeat...any help greatly appreciated. Jason
  7. Just and FYI...believe I found a SOLUTION. Disabling XHCI in Bios and running all ports as a USB 2.0 seems to have worked. Thanks for all suggestions
  8. So I'm trying to get my new pit up and running with my new computer. I have recently found that my 8 inch Lilliput USB monitors (which I use for my MFCDs) do not play nicely with my NVIDIA TI980 and NVIA control panel. Does anyone have a work around for this? I cannot find any online.... Or can anyone make a suggestion about different monitors to use for MFCDs? Thanks Jason
  9. I really hope adding a powered USB port and hooking it into my motherboard is the answer....can anyone think of a reason where I'd be better off going with a 2.0 rather than a 3.0 powered port? Any chance its more a speed or data overload thing for the MB?
  10. Hi Brewnix, So I am currently using a USB external sound card that runs to my stereo receiver. And from the receiver I have the subwoofer output going to my Buttkicker. I disabled the onboard soundcard just because the connections from my USB soundcard worked better with my receiver. I'd love to use my headset for sound (as I wear it for TrackIr) but have never been able to figure out how to get the headset and Buttkicker to work together. Is there a way to send audio output to both The stereo and headset with DCS???
  11. Hmm, I'd love to think this was the problem scarecrow but I fear it isn't. I have a powered UBS port plugged into one of my motherboard 3.1 plugs. I believe the extension may be a USB 2.0 though. It has many open ports and I can't add anything to it or I get the same message. I will try picking up another Powered USB supply (3.1) and see if its the answer....Really hope it is. I'll keep you posted....Thanks for the suggestions....Keep em coming please
  12. Hi guys, just stumbled on this while I am building my new pit. I've skimmed through the thread but maybe someone can help me. I use a Buttkicker LFE running off the subwoofer of my stereo. Would SimShaker still benefit me or would I need the Jet Seat or completely change my audio setup? Thanks Jason
  13. Hi guys, was hoping I could pick you brains on a problem I'm running into setting up my new pit. I recently built a new rig with an Asus X 99 Extreme. I believe it has 13 USB 3.1 ports. This sounds great but in reality I can't use anywhere near all of them before I get a USB resource shortage error and no further USB inputs will be recognized. I've tried all different combinations of setups and USB extensions with no luck. Ironically on my old rig with only USB 2.0, I could connect many more peripherals. I currently have connected my TM warthog stick and throttle, saitek combat rudders, steel series M800 keyboard, corsair gaming mouse, G13 for views, Track IR, my external sound card, and the following saitek panels using Flightpanels (multi switch, 3 radio stacks and BIP). I know that's a lot to begin with but I was hoping to add... My TPM saitek panel, my autopilot saitek panel but most importantly... My 2 F-16 OSBs and my 2 Lilliput 8 inch USB monitors for MFCDs. On my old rig with USB 2.0 I could do this. I even tried adding the PCI express 2 port USB 3.1 card but it didn't really help so I removed it. Any thoughts from any of you pit gurus? My long term goal is to build my own panels and use bios but this was my programming jumping off point. Thanks in advance. Jason
  14. Hi Sabre, was curious if you had any insight into when the advanced qualifications campaign and Tactical might be implemented too in the ED store? Love your campaigns and had no problem repurchasing them through ED....think its a great and easier way to keep them updated. Thanks Jason
  15. Hi Hollywood. First off want to say thanks for such a great looking add on. I'm excited To get it working and was hoping maybe you could help me trouble shoot that. I've followed Davisons video and think I've done it correctly. I'm on win10 and voice attack seems to recognize my key presses ...shows vhf am when pressed etc. I hear static before and after releasing the button. I have three parallel installs of DCS. But using the official and stable release as an example, the start mission command seems to work great but when in mission when I hit the radios I hear the static but no comms menu comes up. And I don't have the no menus mod installed. I've deleted all the commands in the DCS menu and F11 and F12 etc. I try giving commands but nothing seems to happen. I also find that the autohotkey script seems to randomly stop and need to be reloaded. Any thoughts or help would be appreciated. Thanks Jason
  16. Ugh...I'm sorry guys...nevermind. I don't know how or why but somehow my XBox controller got reassigned axis'. I cleared them and all is well. Didn't even realize that was possible. Sorry for the inconvenience. Excited to fly the campaign
  17. attached trk Ok, just tried it again...hope this helpsEnemywithin.trk
  18. Last line should read I've never tried to attach a trk
  19. I'll try and provide a track. I suppose it could be the axis' but I was literally flying the maple flags missions in the a-10c right before with no issue. As soon as I hit fly, the plane does a nose dive to the left. I have to pull the stick full right just to compensate. And even at full throttle can't get airspeed above 160. I slowly bleed altitude, can't keep the plane level and have to exit the mission or I'm gonna crash into the sea. I've tried to attach a trk before but I'll give it a shot
  20. Hi Baltic, just trying your campaign for the first time. On very opening mission, The plane is uncontrollable right out of the gate. I'ts almost like flying in a hurricane. Although weather doesn't seem awful in the ME. Is this an installation problem? Thanks Jason

  22. But everyone believes around 100 would be realistic? At 1000 no wonder I blow out so many engines. Grr
  23. I'm curious what you guys set the bird slider at? I set mine at 1000 but I'm wondering if that's the reason I blow so many engines during take off and landing? What would a realistic setting be? Thanks jason
  24. Hi guys, is there a way to port over my pilot and pilot log from 1.5.2 to 2.0. And video ce versa? Thanks Jason
