Hello. I've been playing this fantastic mission for like 2 years now, adapting it to my personal needs (possibility to play it on both sides of the conflict, adding more targets, etc). My dream would be to enhance it even further so that I can simulate a full scale conflict on the Persian Gulf or Syria map. My question is this - would it be possible to include STATIC objects in the set of blue/red targets? Currently, there are categories like: SAM, ARMOR, AIR DEFENCE, ARTILLERY and SUPPORT. It would be great to have the possibility of adding another category to the script like "BUILDINGS" and AI flights performing pinpoint strikes against them. Is something like that technically possible? Again, thank you for sharing this brilliant mission! Barthek

Oops! Thanks for the feedback. I'll see what I can do to fix it.

Hello, yes, I'm still working on the summer palette. Had to put the project on hold for a while, waiting for Ugra to fix their spring splatmaps. The newest patch seems to have fixed the issue. I've just released another WIP version for internal tests, so I hope it won't take much time before I make it public.

Hello there, as YoYo has already stated, I had to rethink the whole concept and colour pallete of the mod. Being unable to edit the clipmaps (the most distant textures) forced me to take a more balanced approach and here's what I came up with: I was also counting for a more diversified version - that was the initial idea but further tests showed it was a dead end without the developer tools. I will soon publish this version so that you guys can test it out yourselves but it won't be the final one. Best, Barthek

A quick update: As for the winter textures, there's no way I can make the map covered with snow without developer tools. What I will try to achieve is something like late autumn/early winter with some snow patches here and there - but that's still weeks ahead.

Yes, the plan is to alter all seasons.

The summer set of textures is almost ready. I haven't touched the remaining seasons yet. I think I will publish them separately so that you guys can have it quicker. Best guess is tomorrow but don't take it as a promise.

Bad news, guys. I thought I would simply adapt the textures from the GTM: NORMANDY to the newest version of the map. It did the trick but after spending more time testing, the textures seemed kinda cartoonish. I started the whole process of development one more time, taking screenshots from MSFS of that region as the reference. It will take more time but I hope the final result will be much better. Barthek

They are disctinct maps, indeed, but the majority of people will upgrade to Normandy 2, so it seems better to wait and check what the map will have to offer out of the box. As for the Channel mod - yeah, the development is on hold (at least for now). Cheers!
-
Let's wait and see what the upcomming Normandy 2 brings. Currently there are no plans upgrading the NTTR, sorry.

Ooops, my bad, sorry. I was replying in a rush. As for the Optimizer - dunno. Haven't tested it yet.

I am afraid it won't pass IC. Thanks! I'm glad you like it. It works great with Taz's trees - I highly recommend using his mod. It doesn't matter when you apply it as I didn't touch the trees in my work.
