  1. Many thanks cofcorpse
  2. Um, that's not how I'm reading it at all. The light isn't indicating low pressure in the Normal Hydraulic System, but rather that the Alternate Hydraulic System is operating. Yes the system will automatically switch over to the alternate system if the pressure is low in the normal, but the alternate system can also be activated by either the electrical switch or the emergency handle. The light just shows it's in operation. Pulling the handle should switch over to the alternate system regardless of system pressure.
  3. Ok many thanks for confirming the 'Flight Control Alternate - On' warning light correctly doesn't have 'push to test' functionality. I'm still confused why the 'Flight Control Alternate - On' warning light does not come on when the 'Alternate Hydraulic Emergency Override Handle' is pulled. Both the manual and the circuit diagram suggest it should be on "whenever the flight control alternate hydraulic system is operating", regardless of whether the switch over was automatic, or manually selected using either the electrical switch or the override handle.
  4. By mouse clicking, the 'Emergency (In-air) Ignition Switch Cover' and the 'Emergency (In-air) Ignition Switch' can be set to on (and correctly remain there). Using the control mapping for the 'Emergency (In-air) Ignition Switch' The switch becomes 'Spring loaded' and won't remain in the 'ON' position correctly when the keystroke is released. Also if the switch is in the 'ON' position (using the mouse). and the cover is closed The switch remains in the 'ON' position. This is not normally possible with a guarded cover like this.
  5. It's a known issue. Hopefully it will be fixed in the next update. You can fix them yourself so they work with this version, but it means editing the 'description.lua' file for each aircraft (and you might have to change them back in the next version).
  6. 'Rocket Fuze (Arming) Switch' , Mouse Clicks works correctly, but there's only one entry for it in the control setup, and it's a three position switch. i.e. you can only move it downwards using a keystroke or DX button assignment, but you have to use the mouse to move back up. It needs another mapping adding for the other direction.
  7. Now we just need a mapping in the Control Setup for the 'Landing Gear Emergency Release Handle' so we can assign a key stroke or joystick button to it.
  8. Thanks, that makes some sense. With fuel in the outboard tanks and the selector to 'OUTBD ON & JETT', the light wouldn't be on, but you could push to test the bulb hadn't gone. What about the 'Flight Control Alternate - On' warning light? Do you have the circuit diagram for that one? Seems strange there was no way to test it even though it was a push to test type switch. Also shouldn't the light come on when the 'Alternate Hydraulic Emergency Override Handle' is pulled? (It currently doesn't). The diagram in the F-86F Flight Manual suggests it should.
  9. Mouse clicking on the 'Elapsed Time Mechanism Button' correctly starts, stops, and resets the stopwatch. Confusingly, there seems to be two possible control mappings for this. 'Flight Clock Start/Stop/Reset' and 'Elapsed Time Start/Stop/Reset' But neither of these currently work with a keyboard or DX button assignment.
  10. Thanks cofcorpse I'd be interested to see the electrics schemes also.
  11. The binding (mapping) for 'Canopy Switch, CLOSE' and 'Canopy Switch, OPEN' are currently reversed. i.e. Assigning a keystroke or DX button to 'Canopy Switch, CLOSE', will open the canopy instead of closing it, and vice versa for 'Canopy Switch, OPEN'. Mouse clicking or using the mapping 'Canopy Open/Close', the switch shouldn't remain in the 'Close' position. It was spring loaded back to the center OFF position. Taken from the F-86F Flight Manual With the switch held in the 'Close' position the aircraft shouldn't pressurize, or it should depressurize if already pressurized. This currently doesn't happen as can be seen here with the switch in the 'Close' position, the aircraft at 30,000ft, but the cabin altitude at around 12,000ft.
  12. No idea what this difference is, but it's been fine for me with version 1.5.1.47025.99 (been online for several hours tonight), Currently running, Windows 10, Oculus Runtime for Windows V0.8.0.0-beta, & GameWorks VR Driver Support version 358.78 (GTX TITAN X).
  13. Nice to see this working now.
  14. Sorry to hear it didn't work for you, I'm at a loss as to what else to suggest.
  15. Improved multiplayer with dedicated server and online performance tracking.
  16. Have you installed the latest graphics drivers specifically for VR? I'm running the latest Oculus Runtime for Windows 0.8.0.0-beta with DCS (it's running really well). But note you have to have specific graphics drivers to use it. I would recommend you: . Uninstall the current Oculus Runtime you have .... shut down. . Un-plug all the Oculus cables .... re-start. . Install the specific graphics driver for your card .... re-boot. . Install the latest Oculus Runtime for Windows 0.8.0.0-beta .... shut down. . Plug all the Oculus cables back in .... re-start. Let us know if fixes the problem.
  17. I've installed RemoteFX. Trying to run DCS still gives me the 'dx11backend.dll' error. I tried to run Rise of Flight via the normal game, but likewise it failed with a 'dxBackend.dll' error this time. Of course I don't normal run ROF this way, instead using 'DServer.exe' which only displays a very simple window (all settings being controlled via a .cfg file). I'm not sure I've setup RemoteFX correctly though. Having installed it, do I need to go on and create a new 'virtual machine'? https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff830365.aspx
  18. Thanks, I try that (will have to be tomorrow, getting late here now). The only other thing currently install on it other than DCS, is Rise of Flight (which I believe is DX9), is that good enough to test it?
  19. Yes along with Visual C++ 2010 libraries and DirectX End-User Runtimes. Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard 64-bit I have no phisical access to it, it's located at the London Data Centre.

  21. It just disables the 3D part and works great for having my laptop run a server, even though it's not strong enough to run the full game. But it doesn't work on my remote dedicated server (currently used to run a ROF server on). This remote machine has DX11 installed, but only has a very weak onboard GPU (Matrox G200eW), on start-up I get the DCS splash screen, followed shortly after by an APPCRASH dx11backend.dll error. The error log shows this "00000.378 ERROR DX11BACKEND: DX11Renderer::init() failed - D3D11CreateDevice() returned DXGI_ERROR_UNSUPPORTED"
  22. Many thanks, I'll give it a go.
  23. Are there details of how to set this up anywhere? I have a remote server I would like to host DCS on, but it doesn't have a graphics card.
  24. EVGA GTX TITAN X (Hydro Copper)
