  1. Thanks Ramstein, the problem I am having now is I installed the beta2 for my x45 and pedals over the existing drivers, reprogrammed the profile and all kinds of funny stuff is happening. The last time this happened I unistalled all the saitek software and reinstalled each piece. I installed the Beta following the order they suggested but when I engaged buttons I have mapped other aircraft functions would react, i.e. when I tried to increase radar range I ejected from the aircraft, annoying to say the least! If anyone has any tips regarding Beta2 drivers for the X45 and Pedals I am all ears as I start my install all over again tonight.:joystick::doh:
  2. What is the Pro extension at the end of the profile. Non of the ones I made have this extension. I downloaded the latest drivers and it will not recognize the pro extension. Any ideas?
  3. Hey, thanks Ordin_Norway, I will try it out.
  4. Thanks Ramstein, I will download the profile when I return from a business trip. I have an X45. I assume there a two seperate profiles for the pedals and your X52?
  5. Aeroscout, can you post the link to the recent beta release of drivers. I too have had problems with the toe break in IL2 and LOMAC. I am sure I can find them however I would like to make sure I am working from the same drivers as you installed. Thank you for your assistance.
  6. It would be great to have one of these. It would seal the divorce! Sv-rus, I see by your avatar you like'm big!:megalol:
  7. Ya Man, solved the problem! I reviewed my graphics config file and found I that the aspect ratio did not match up with the resolution. My resolution is set at 1280x1024 and the aspect ratio was defaulted to 1.333337. By changing the aspect ratio to 1.25 (1280/1024), the water renders properly and the game looks fantastic! So, for those of you who haven't checked your aspect ratio do it, you may get a nice surprise. Thanks again SuperKungFu. Case Closed.:book: I am sure many of you know this, but I recently found out that by going into the graphics setting page will cause your config setting for the aspect ratio to reset to default. I thought others may benefit from this post.
  8. Man, thats some MOD! Going back to your original post, you can take THREE WEEKS OFF?! The North Ameirican average is 10 days/year!
  9. I found something interesting. Wether I have MODS on or off when I enter a game online, if I go to the graphics section and click on texture and water and choose the option that is already showing (Tex-High, Water-High) and then launch the game the water is rendered correctly. This must be one for the books!
  10. Man that looks awesome! Almost makes me want to stand in front of it while its firing!
  11. Thanks Super, I will let you know how I make out. Thanks for your time.
  12. Upon further investigation I found a strange thing. When I was experimenting with various tracks the water continued to look like the photo above. I would then stop the track go back to the edit screen reselect the graphics settings make sure Textures on High, and Water on High. I then change the settings to Tex, Water medium, restart the track, stop it go back into the edit screen reset TEX and Water to High and start the same track and the water is perfect. I began to think that the graphic settings were different in MODMAN. I printed out my graphics config and game settings and found that each one in Modman matches my in game settings. I then started the game again, chose the same track and the water was again distorted. I then experimented by going on line and found the water distorted with texture set to high and water set to high. I can't figure out what is happening. This picture after changing Texture High, Water High to Tex-Med, Water-Med. This picture after going back into edit screen changing Texture and Water back to High. Note water is now perfect!
  13. Thanks Super, I found that setting textures to high and water to high worked as it should. It would seem "very high" works similiar to IL2 in that the config allows you set water to 3 & 4 for Invidia cards only. ATI cards work on setting 1 & 2 only. Thanks for your input. If someone has suggestions for video card settings, (Radeon/ATI X1950pro), let me know. Thank you.
  14. Greywolf, I just watched the high res version, fantastic. How did you achieve this. Perhaps GA could enlighten me as well.
  15. This photo shows water rendering setting on High. I have tried various mod fixes etc through MODMAN and yet water still looks like this. This photo was taken while using Enhanced FPS Water MOd by D-Scythe, and Fixed Water Mod by Xuantam. I have a Radeon X1950Pro. Anyone have ideas how I can render the water better? Is there something I need to change with ATI Catylast? Thanks for the help.
  16. Thanks GA, just as in life we have to pay. I thought that would be the answer.;)
  17. Awesome movie really enjoyed it! For those of us with ADD (short attention spans), it was fun to watch. I am interested in learning how to make movies. How where you able to get such a high resolution? I assume you had all in game settings set to the max? I have started to experiment with FRAPS. The copy of FRAPS I downloaded advertises there website at the top of the video. How do I get rid of that? Well done, rep inbound:thumbup:
  18. Thanks Teka-Teka for the help. I bit the bullet and actually read the information, go figure. So I started from scratch installing 6.0.2 etc. Thanks again, by the way I enjoy your work.
  19. Nice work! Can't wait to see it in game. Looks like that Navy should call all of their ships in for refit! Well Done. Rep Inbound
  20. Question. Can you install 6.0 over 5.0 and not have to reinstall all of the mods?
  21. GA, how do I take a track and copy the whole thing to an AVI or DiVX file? Specifically, I would like to record some tracks to DiVX without editing etc, just copy them. Thanks for the help.
  22. Forget about the model, that was the most imaginative post I have ever seen! Well done. I look forward to flying that beauty soon. Thank you to everyone involved for keeping the game entertaining.
  23. Thanks Kuky, for your input. Be sure I always trust the numbers! They never exaggerate.
  24. Thanks for the input gentlemen. Let me be clear what I am trying to do. I have a 939 socket motherboard and for the sake of spending a few bucks now, (for the fun of it), I thought I would put an AMD 4400 in my system. Eventually I will build, (not me, my brother-in-law), a new system for BS and BOB. However if there is no real gain compared to what I am running now, AMD 3700+, I would not pursue it. So do you think there is a gain over what I am using now? Any suggestions on how to divide the cores for an advantage? i.e. LOMAC on core 1, HL, etc etc. Thanks again for the information.:book::thumbup:
  25. Thanks for the input guys. Do you think it is worth while upgrading my 939 socket to the max duel core I can still find? Will I see improved performance? For $90 or $100 I would do it for the fun of it if it can make a decent improvement. Thanks again for the input.
