I used to play Operation Flashpoint for 5 years. Been into many clan wars, spent about 1000+ hours playing it. Arma is a big dissapointment. It pwns my rig, and when I turn my graphics down it looks worse than OFP made in 2001.

WOW, I see the problem right there. Actually, two problems - 512MB RAM and Nvidia FX5200. Did you know that FX5200 is an "office" video card, that is meant for office applications but not gaming ? First of all, I remember getting FX5900 back in 2004 I think. And you have FX5200 which is by far a lot slower. Upgrade your video card. I'm pretty sure you won't run many games at acceptible setting with that card. Also, your memory - 512MB, is not really enough for most of games. You need at least 1GB for today's games. Optimization tip: Try setting texture resolution to medium. I have doubled my frames per second by changing textures from High to medium. Also, your Sempron processor is simply old. This is not even Athlon XP. Really really old. Oh, and stop with that "expensive $3000 or $4000" computer stuff. I bought mine (AMD 4000, 7800gt, 2gb ram) almost two years ago for $1000. It costs a lot cheaper today since there are more powerfull computers on the market.

Where's the option "I fly Mig29" ? It has R77 and handles great.

Ive been AMD user since 2000. Looks like it will change next year. So far my AMD 4000 is doing well. Seriously, there are no games to justify new system purchase right now. Lomac runs great with 4AA&AF. And CRYSIS might come out in 2008 so we have time. :D

Keep in mind that with 27ER you always have to keep the target in lock. Also, when you fire from maximum distance, AI will perform evasive maneuvers and will likely escape it.

I have DVI output on my videocard. I bought DVI to HDMI cable and connected my HDTV through HDMI. Text and everything else looks good.

Are you talking about windows desktop or lockon interface ? Lockon interface doesn't look good on anything above 1024x768. Even on my 1280x1024 LCD I can see that (not to mention HDTV). However, everything else, including windows desktop, looks great. Also, when you connect HDTV, make sure you enable HDTV compatible resolutions in your video card drivers. Part of of the problem is because text and some interface images were created in 1024x768 res. So when you have a bigger resolution, images/text are stretched out.

You should see F35 cockpit. HDTV inside. :)

Nope, FC and Lockon are two separate products. I don't think Ubisoft has released downloadable version of original Lockon.

Итак подведу итоги темы: Кампания должа: - Быть динамической (не могу не сказать насколько важна эта часть, статические кампании это 90ые годы, старье) - Иметь хороший сюжет, а не типа лети туда, сбей то. Должна быть эмоциональная часть, которая побуждает игрока на прохождение - Взаимодействие игроков и АИ, атмосфера войны (т.е. боты просят о помощи, говорят между собой, применяют груповые елементы воздушного боя, изменение задачи в процессе выполнения) Хорошая кампания от ЛО заставит меня отказатся от изучения Фалькона :)

Посоветуйте плиз. Что лучше, Allied Force или Free Falcon ? Просто у меня сейчас момент, когда нужно твердо решить, что изучать, АФ или ФФ. Упор на графику и кампанию.
