Hi BD, I am loving the campaign. Just flew mission 2. I’m strugling with the radios (my fault), but the campaign is forcing me to study the M2000C properly. Tks a lot for the effort and I will post here the results once I finish it. (100+70=85 so far) All the best, Sydy

Flagrum, The mask is supposed to “seal” the pilot face (nose and mouth) and if obogs is off, there is no oxygen and the pilot kind of suffocates. It becomes real hard to breath in real life. I can say that because I tested that myself. I could breath but it was almost and Yoga exercice. OBOGS - On Board Oxygen Generator System - basically filters oxygen molecules from engine bled air and feeds the system. This way there is no need to have an reservoir do be filled once bellow a certain level like the majority of commercial planes has. I hope the explanation helps. All the best, Sydy

I Understand. Although I love the A-29B, froma sales stand point, F-15E has much more appeal to the public. I do hope they don’t drop the project. Tks, Sydy

Hi Gents, Razbam, with the 2 new planes announced today and a new terrain, does that mean that A-29 project will be on hold? Tks in advance, Sydy

Hey, just noticed this about the Sidewinder! :)

Dude, Don’t! You’re out of range. :pilotfly: LOL Take care, Sydy -
Hi Bobbygun, I really like his podcast. I also concur that he deserves all the support we can give. All the best, Sydy

Hi Poko, Yep, as per NATOPS, but remember, this is a “Quick Checklist” and The first disclaimer on the download page is that is not close to the real one, but a simplified version to get you safely airborne. :smilewink: Feel free to add you own items on it. All the best, Sydy

Gents, I took the liberty to convert Habu_69 PDF file to a usable kneeboard. Normandy Airfield Frequencies and Aerodrome Charts The original file can be found on Habu_69 Original PDF file. Extract this inside of "N:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\terrains\Normandy". Check if the files are in the "N:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\terrains\Normandy\Kneeboard" folder. N is the DCS Hard Drive Unit letter. Remember to adapt the path to your username and DCS version you are using. You will find the airfield list and maps on your DCS Kneeboard on the Normandy Map. If you have more than one DCS version, repeat the step above to each version. Good luck and fly safe! All the best, Sydy

Hi Sting57, You only have to activate the kneeboard with LSHF+K and the browse the pages with [ and ]. Good luck and tks for downloading the files. All the best, Sydy

Only canadians care about Bombardier... AN-26B fits better in there.

Hi Foxfire, What I did is to map the OSBs, but left the bright/SYM and side buttons to function that I need access like lights, heading bug and course selection. Besides that I use a modifier button to make the OSBs to have a second funcion, then I use it for A/A, Master Arm, Ejection Selection Buttons and so on. Good luck, Sydy

Flap amber light after eng shut down Gents, I hope you are doing all right. First of all, congratulations for such wonderful module. I am having a lot of fun with it. I noticed a minor discrepancy that I’d like to consult you. After both engines shut down, flap amber light was supposed to come on and it doesn’t. My reference is NATOPS Flight Manual FA-18A/B/C/D, page III-7-35 (page 341 of the pdf). In there it says: I know you have you plate full at this moment and this is a minor minor thing. Maybe in the future you’d like to add this feature in the module. This is my attempt to contribute a little bit. All the best, Sydy

Hi Sedlo, Nice mission although I found out a bit harder than the RedFlag one because the objectives and tgts are not that clear. I made it on the third attempt. Keep it up! All the best, Sydy
