Hello, I'm looking for information about the general design and systems of the Mig21, that is : details of the mechanical structure, schematics of hydraulics, fuel and electrical sytems, description of the engine and its features, and so on .... With most others DCS modules all this information could be found in the manual ( see the "General design" Chapter of the A10C, Ka50 , Huey and other modules). I really miss this information, without it, most sections of the manual don't make any sense ! Take for instance the start procedure, we are told to engage the current converter yet, we don't even know what is their role in the electrical systems. Same goes for fuels pumps of the 1rd tank group and 3rd tank group: What are those tank group? where are they located ? and why don't we switch the 2nd tank group ? And so on for most of the switches ... What I love when learning a new aircraft is understanding what are the various systems of the aircraft and how they work together. When starting the aircraft I don't follow a cooking recipe, I would like what the switch I click on exactly do ! So, do you plan to add a section like this to the Manual ? if not, where can I get this information ? thank you ( and sorry for my poor English ;) )

Thanks for the manual. But I think there should ne a Chapter at the start describing the Mig21 and all it's systems, like you see in others manual. It would help a lot to understand the aircraft

I have the same problem , but no UH1 folder in E:\Users\Desk\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input\ . Only A10 and Su 25T folsders :(

Hi , I have a french boxed copy of BS 1 that I purchased a while ago. I want to take advantage of the sale to upgrade to BS2, but wich version should I get ? it seems to me that all the upgrades are for downloaded versions of BS1. Will i still be able to ugrade my boxed version if I get one of those ? thx

sorry it's a typo , i had typed in 06 for 6000 feets. But regarding the crashes it only seems to occur when trying to edit this page while on the ground.

just tried this , caused my game to crash when i set one of the altitude in the wind page to 0.6 ( with latest patch of course) :huh:

I don't find hitting target form 10'000 ft with mk82 in CCRP particularly hard, I do it often and most of the bombs land within sufficient range of the target to destroy it.

I agree with you. But my version of BS is a french version , and I don't think you'll often hear radio coms in french while your flying your mi-17.Also I don't see why I would have my cockpit in russian and the betty (or natasha) in french. Russian cockpit >>> Russian betty English cockpit >>> English betty ???? >>>> French betty I don't how it is in russian army but I would find it surprising if you tell me they are speaking french or english to eachother. It's sure that at first I would not be able to undertand everything, but I will learn.And that's what I'm looking for : learning how the black shark works, how the russian people speaks , etc ...

Sorry to dig out this topic. But I felt very disappointed when I saw that all the coms and all the ALMAZ com are in french in the french version :doh:. I find it just awfull , I can't play with french voices , it's so unrealistic and it breaks immersion. So , is it possible to get the russian sound files somehow ? thx

may-be it's out of topic , But can we choose in the western version to have , wingmans speaking russian and russian pit ? I love to hear ppl speak russian it's more realistic :thumbup:

I really love the main menu with rotor it's great :thumbup: But the icon of campaign builder looks weird at firts I thought it was a smiley :D. Flags = eyes and the scale = mouth.But it's just a detail so nvm :pilotfly:great job.

I can tell by experience that vista does use more perf than XP , with the same PC on XP crysis runned fine in High settings , On vista with forced DX9 it was totaly unplayable in high settings , med setting was required to have nthe game playable. Second to that I've got numerous bugs with all kind of software on vista.But hopefuly they seems to be a lot less now. :D

I've got a little question with compatibility , If you own DCS:BS , the new module include the A-10 and new engine ,what if you don't want A10 but only new engine with BS will it be possible via some patch or so ? or you couldn't get new engine without A-10 ? personaly I don't think anyone would spit on a brand new A-10, but who knows. :D
