  1. The last Facebook message is claiming that all trees are now collidable. Does that also mean that AI will not shoot throught them? Was the performance hit resolved?
  2. It was done by ED... :) They confirmed it on their facebook now. Now all trees are also colidable, not only those in the city.
  3. Great pictures indeed, I like it a lot. Now the next step is to resolve the LOD on textures further away. The mountains still look too blurry. I hope that's something solvable. :)
  4. More images were posted at the moment... https://www.facebook.com/RazbamSims
  5. Su-30 ... ha you can make the speculation quite fun to follow. :) I would love to see such plane fully modeled.
  6. Harrier is halfway useless until we have working naval ops. So its no surprise that its not yet out... We will have to wait for the F-18 bundle to bring such things to DCS. That may easily take another two years.
  7. That depends ... did ED/Belsimtek program the FBW for Su-27 the way they should have? Does anybody know? It's the only airplane in DCS that should have a working FBW already. Razbam could base their programing on that.
  8. It would mean that they would have to program a computer which would be analyzing the flight parametres and change the inputs to prevent hostile behaviour. Then analyze players inputs, compare them to the flight characteristics, modify the inputs a little bit... etc. etc. all this at least 50 times per second.
  9. The Internet: Asking all the questions you are afraid to ask. Well if the dragon would know whats coming then he could stop time with a spell and then teleport next to the aircraft. :)
  10. Harrier has return? The decisive point will be how many Mirages will they sell? I do not know how large is the FSX market which they occupy atm. but if Mirage will do good then we will see all the previously anounced titles and pretty fast too. If I could guess then Mirage will do exceptionaly well due to its exlusivenes. It will be the first fully simulated recently modern fighter in DCS. But that of course counts with the fact that they will relese before Leatherneck and theirs yet unannounced "modern" jet too.
  11. Well I think that Razbam was telling since start that they are waiting for DCS 2.0 because of the Naval ops. ED was telling us 3 years in a row that 2.0 will come out at end of the particular year. So whos fault it is in the end? Now DCS 2.0 is at last done at gues what, Razbam is releasing first module this year too. Coincidence?
  12. That depends on how stable it will be to fly over it with another 10 people at the same time. The HW requirements are pretty drastic so who knows how it will perform...
  13. War Never been so much fun .... Bombs Never been so much fun ....
  14. I'm afraid that there were multiple moments where it was sub 30 fps... for example the time when the aircraft gets shotdown.
  15. What computer did they have? The performance was not so good...
  16. So many people upgraded in last months. :D Im on 980ti now.
  17. But you will still need DX11 in 1.5 even on Black Sea map. So either you can stay on 1.2 and have the Albatros or the specs are wrong. I was just asking if it is an oversight or if the future aircraft modules will require version 1.5 and higher or not. Well at least thats what I wanted to ask...
  18. I see different specs next to Albatros module...
  19. Well then the specs should be changed because they are missleading. There are people that want the plane but do not have the HW needed to handle 1.5 ... or it seems so from the comments if the specs for Nevada ergo 1.5 are true.
  20. So it will be released in 1.2 also? Because the specs below the module seem to point to that...
  21. Well I think that it means that you will be able to fly the Albatros in the old version if you will not decide to upgrade to 1.5. You will loose on the graphics but it will be the only option for people who do not have HW powerfull enough to handle 1.5. That raises one question though. Will ED keep the last Dx 9 version somewhere for dowload or will it be ditched all together when 2.0 goes live?
  22. Minimum system requirements: OS 64-bit Windows 7/8/10; DirectX11; CPU: Core i3; RAM: 8 GB; Free hard disk space: 30 GB; Video: 2 GB RAM card, DirectX11 - compatible; requires internet activation. Recommended system requirements: OS 64-bit Windows 7/8/10; DirectX11; CPU: Core i5+; RAM: 16GB; Hard disk space: 30 GB; Video: NVIDIA GeForce GTX780 / ATI R9 290 DirectX11 or better; Joystick; requires internet activation. Do I understand it correctly that the Nevada on it's own will take 30GB of disk space? When I compare it to the Albatros specs below it's kinda different universe of specs. :D Minimum system requirements: OS 64-bit Windows Vista, 7/8/10; CPU: Core 2 Duo 2.0 GHz; RAM: 6 GB; Free hard disk space: 10 GB; Video: 512 MB RAM card, DirectX 9.0c - compatible; Sound: DirectX 9.0c - compatible; requires internet activation. Recommended system requirements: OS 64-bit Windows Vista, 7/8/10; CPU: Core i5+; RAM: 8GB; Hard disk space: 10 GB; Video: Shader 3.0 or better; NVIDIA GeForce GTX560 / ATI 6950 DirectX 9.0c or better; Sound: DirectX 9.0c - compatible; DirectX: 9.0C; requires internet activation.
  23. I think they will go with beta of AFM... Just my gues. :)
  24. It really seems that this year winter will be really hot with all the hot news we are going to get. :D
  25. Have you tried higher anti aliasing settings? If yes try DSR resolution via nvidia panel ... double your current resolution and check the results.
