  1. Yogi, as we discussed via PM (jgia@comcast), I am interested in a more horizontal position of the collective stick when it is in full down position. Instead of you customizing a box with an angled base for me, I think I can take the box as shown and build my own wedged shaped base to achieve the desired angle of inclination. Since I am not mounting the box on the floor, I need a shorter collective shaft. If the shaft does not carry any wires and the connection with the collective base is a simple slide on, then I can take the entire unit as is and shorten the stick myself. What do you think? BTW, I think that you offering this surface mounting box will greatly increase demand for this collective to those with pits without "floors". I've followed Sim Collective offerings closely for some time now and yours is the most promising in all respects that I have seen. Nice job Yogi.
  2. IMO, if the box will be surfaced mounted, the USB connection should be on the Aft panel of the box.
  3. Great primer Ian, Thanks.
  4. Yes, you can use VoiceAttack to actuate "SWITCHES" in DCS but a SWITCH has to be toggled off in order to apply another one. The problem, as has been already stated, is that there is no reliable way to know which if any SWITCH is on. A button box that has ON-OFF-ON switches can be programed so that both ON poles have the same output. This way you can tell if a SWITCH is active by the position of the toggle bar.
  5. I gotta wait till next production cycle for the BRD-N cyclic before I can put order in. Looks like it's well worth the wait. Forgot to ask Baur if he is working on a collective. Anybody have any insight into this?
  6. Just thought I would reiterate what a great tool is Kneeboard Builder.

  8. Keep tryin! :smartass: EDIT; The text was originally done with EVERNOTE. The schematic was a scanned drawing that I typed over with paint.net.
  9. You can find free conversion tools on line but for the most part I use Kneeboard Builder to convert a PDF or .html to a .png. Then find the .png in the Kneeboard Builder's "kneeboard" folder in Windows Explorer. I use the Select and Crop tool in Paint.net to make things "fill" the cockpit kneeboard.
  10. Don't have the definitive answer but I have worked around such issues by converting to .png and enlarging "image" in paint.net.
  11. You only need one install to handle all 3 versions.

  13. I believe that Highway's Profiles are still available BUT, his rig exploded so he'll be off line a bit for repairs.
  14. Will check it out. Thanx Bud
  15. Cant remember exact processes but look at the Background Processes in Task Manager. I find 2 processes under the Oculus logo. End both these tasks. This fix is still workin for me. Eventually I'll figure out how to stop these programs from autostarting with reboot.
  16. Okay. Think I solved the issues, at least on my end. I run Oculus occasionally but 2D most of the time. An Oculus Background Process was running while I was in 2D. Ended that process in Task Manager and appears that all is good now.
  17. I"ve been experiencing something similar. While in game, I'm frequently hearing the Windows audio signal you hear when connecting/disconnecting a usb device. See my post above. Maybe these issues are connected?? Some strange shxt happening.
  18. Yes. I have been experiencing same thing. I reinstalled TIR To an older version (5.4.0) about an hour ago. so far so good. We'll see.
  19. Andre, FYI https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=143573&page=82 Post # 812
  20. Thank you for responding.
  21. Thanks Man.
  22. IMO you're much better off assigning your joystick buttons to DCS slow zoom in and out. You can also use the Normal Zoom command (Can't recall the exact command name) to instantaneously return to default unzoomed view. I use a single command (thru VoiceAttack) to normalize Zoom and Center TiR simultaneously.
  23. Is this mod available for general consumption??
