  1. Yah, modelling of these great add on features has been disappointing. Nice job putting it out there. Thanks.
  2. Glad its workin out. Thanks for the feedback guys.
  3. Gyros and Attitude indicators on?? At least you'll stay cool.
  4. I'm sure you're aware that you can decrease Z axis sensitivity in settings, but you that would also make it harder to zoom when you want to. Other than that, I'm unaware of any other means of calibrating this issue.
  5. Try activating the Equipment Test switch to link the APU standby generator to the Rectifier Buss. The AP is on Essential Buss, not sure bout Weapons system.
  6. Understood, but, I believe that by repositioning the sensor laterally you can influence the relative Z axis excursion. You can only mitigate Z axis activity, not remove it. Z axis activity is generated with a head mounted centre positioned sensor as well. It's just to minor to measure. I'm sitting 28" from a 65" TV monitor with camera mounted on top so the TiR setup angles are pretty severe. Despite this, I have managed to negate any relevant distortion by manipulating position and angle of sensor mount. Please post if you get a useful response from Natural Point support.
  7. You might be able to mitigate the Z axis effect by repositioning the TiR receiver.
  8. Much appreciated.
  9. No joy. Is it working for you?
  10. I do use a NVG mod, but the issue manifests without the mod as well.
  11. A mirror of my entire monitor screen image appears on the overlay panel. I expect to see the GPS panel. (Close look to NS430)
  12. The GPS overlay panel behaves like an accessory monitor when I activate NVG. A mirror of my entire monitor screen image appears on the overlay panel. Yah, turning off "mirrors" didn't fix it.
  13. I've modded the NS430 default.lua to have the Right & Left, Large & Small rotary knobs output a single momentary pulse. Now getting errorless one:one responses from my rotary encoders. Should work with any type of controller input. JSGME/OVGME ready. GPS Rotary Encoder Fix.rar
  14. Just set up a Snap View with your sight reticle centered. Works fine for me in Huey and Mi8.
  15. Nice find. Checkin it out now.
  16. That's it. Concur.
  17. You may be aware but here is an excellent 2 part video documentary on the Mi8. I'll post the link later tonite when I get home. PM me if I forget.
  18. It is the CORRECTOR that you need to map to your twist throttle axis. The ECL's are confusingly listed as THROTTLES. The ECLs only have 3 positions, Up Down & Center (no "in-between"). I don't know why they are listed in the "axis" subcategory. BTW, The ECL's stay centered and are not used for normal flight. Not worth a button, much less a hat assignment. IMHO
  19. Yah, "Allow more input options" blocks everything. Thank you for the support. clientlog.rar
  20. Good call Gizz. It appears DCS labels all 4 inputs as POV1 as well, so I can work around that easy enough. SRS only recognizing 1 controller is not a game changer but would be nice to know what's up with that. Cheers.
  21. I typically have a cyclic button mapped to the Common PTT, and a key mapped to the overlay toggle and have had no issues. I'm havin trouble mapping a joystick hat (4-way digital button) to the radios. Each button of the hat comes up as POV1 (not POV1, POV2, POV3....) for each of the radios mapped. Also, only the Cyclic buttons, and keyboard can be mapped. Other controllers and button box are not recognized by SRS. I've done a clean reinstall, including Saved Games. No luck. Appreciate any thoughts on this.
  22. Try Susanne at [susanne@microHELIS.de]
  23. I've watched your video. I have experienced the exact same issue. The fix is a single setting change. Sorry I can't recall what it was and have not been able to get to my sim to revisit it. Gonna keep it in mind cuz it's buggin me.
  24. You can map Trac IR Aiming (and Pause Trac IR for that matter) to a hotas button or VoiceAttack command. Works for me.
