  1. The destruction effect of the A2G weapons(mainly bombs and rockets) need to be modified. Hello all. I think that the present power of the bombs seems to be too low.It looks like this phenomenon began to exist since the release of the FC2. There some typical example of how the bombs and rockets are underestimated. Let's use the M1A2 as the target 1. To use a A-10 to drop a MK84. The bomb falls and lands about 3 meters away of the tank. However, the tank doesn't explode. It still has 10% lifebar. 2. To use a SU-33 to drop a RBK-500U(Looks like it is the most effective anti-tank weapon that MIG-29 and SU-27/33 has) ,good hit. And the tank's lifebar seems unchanged,almost 100%. Finally,after I throw 6 RBK-500Us at the same time,it makes a difference:2 tanks are destroyed. After I tried almost every bombs that I can drop. I found that the most effective anti-tank weapon is the CBU-97..Although it is a terminate sensitive bomb, the kill probability of it is still low. I think that we can compare that with the BMS4. In BMS4, even a 220kg MK20 will destroy one or two tanks after a good hit. However in the DCS, it can't. It even can't reduce the lifebar of the tanks by 50% It is also unbelievable that a 1-ton MK84 can't destroy a tank after explosion 3 meters away of it. There are many M1s destroyed by the IDE's made of one 155HE shells. It is strange that a 1-ton bomb can't do that. And the rockets.Unless a direct hit for the S-8 KOM...The tank won't be destroyed. The reason that causes this phenomenon is that there is only one lifebar for the whole unit. In the real world, after being hit by cluster bombs, the tank's track maybe damaged and it can't move any more;its aiming systems can be damaged and it can't be used to aim. What's more, the clusters may penetrate through the top armor and ignite the vehicle. This can't be realized by one lifebar. In the real world, when the tank can't fight any longer, the tank is dead( lose value). However in the game, a tank's death only equals the appearance of the wreckage.This is not so rational. In the real world, the "death" of a tank doesn't necessary means that the tank breaks apart. It may be caused by the death of the crew after a hit of a rocket. I think in the game, we can just use the wreckage of a tank to represent all the serious malfunction and destruction. So my suggestions are as follows(The impact and destruction effects for bombs and rockets) 1.To use two hitbox for the vehicles that have a obvious turret. Mainly MBT,SPA,SPAAA. The other vehicles use only one hitbox. 2.Abandon the lifebar.To use the probability calculation to decide the status of a tank (SPA....SPAAA...) directly. We can use a Curvefitting-probability distribution to decide the probability. Once we abandon the lifebar we can save a storage space.

  4. ED让俯仰不能回中有利也有弊。 当你想要进入和退出一个盘旋 状态的速度会比用杆慢, 但是当需要保持稳定盘旋的时候 俯仰不会中, 杆量相对固定。 建议纯键盘党尝试自动驾驶, 精力可以放在对地打击上。
  5. Actually...I think the electronical environment sim for flight simulator is a little bit luxurious ..... (DCS LEVEL)EW requires a little deep understanding of electronic engineering..e.g. Fourier transform...Laplace transform.....Z transform...modulation...demodulation....DFT....FFT......FH....TH.... And may better know the electromagnetic field as well........... (If a comprehensive EW facility is simulated...)

  8. I do the opposite.. Land first...and pull the joystick to perform a cobra.. and then I land on my tail vertically and then..a fireball comes up...
  9. The updating process is stuck at 75.9MB,the updator will crash after downloading 20MB's files and say "problems with server etc.." I've tried to repair the DCSW with the updator but the problem comes out again...... Another question is....Why the DL rate varies signicantly in the day time and at midnight hour?(I mean....time in UTC+8 regions..)

I'm planning to make a video about the air shows in DCSW,but I've been troubled by a problem :How to simulate the real world ground camera view In fact, I can use Ctrl+F11 to pick a location on the ramp and use ctrl+F3 to track a plane, but it is not at variance with the reality . First,when I press the Ctrl+F11, the camera start to giggle,and than the camera moves underground so I can't choose a right location easily And there is many other problems For example,I want to track the low-flying formation In the game ,when I press the Ctrl+F3, the camera on the ramp start to track on of the aircraft (not the whole formation).What's more,the center of view,which is also the aim point of the camera ,is directly fixed at the plane,but in the real world,your hands cannot operate the camera so precisely that you can aim the aircraft perfectly, the aim point will dangling about the center of the formation(and not one of the aircrafts). In fact,the axis of camera view in the real world is not always go through the center of the formation.The angle of gradient(θ) and aspect(α)in the world is more like a "Stationary random process",its trend line is smooth ,but one of its realization line is fluctuating. I mean ,the aim point is fluctuating slowly.But in DCSW, (in the camera giggle mode) it is the camera itself vibrate at a very large margain, sometimes the camera will be shaken off to the underground world..   11. ehmmm. I did some tests on this module and found some........problems.. 1. The MBT seems to be Immune to some kind of heavy attack... I used a MSTA and shot the T-90's face....The T-90 didn't get hurt by th 155 HE.... And I point the TOW direct at the M1A2's face and shoot it....The missile go through the tank without giving any damage... 2. I shoot the A-10C's gear carefully with a M2A2,and when I take down all the tires, The plane seems to be a flouting UFO.... 3. The SU-27 can fly the negative G cobra again....At about 300km/h+,Push the joystick.....The plane will nose down and down and down...and finally,the plane's belly point to the sky.....
  12. ehmmm... Precisely,it can hit the ground ,but it cannot explode..... It stuck in the ground ,and the plane withstand the huge shock and maintain "the Completeness" ,with the radar antenna still turning around. Maybe the crew jumped out of the plane and walked to their base...

Since SU-27 will have a better datalink in the FC3 soon, and Mig-29S has R-77.And when it comes to the carrier aircraft, we will soon have the new CVN-70 and F-18E, but the SU-33 still looks old ,it only has R-27ER/R,R-27ET/T and R-73, not to mention R-27EM and R-77.......And further more, it lacks pin point strike capacities...... So after the DCS:F-18C and DCS:F-18E is done,can we naval air force fans have a better SU-33?:D (I know in the real world the SU-33 had an upgrade after 2010.....)

When I click "fly" in the luancher, the luancher's gui suddenly disappears. (Normally,the luancher will call out the simulator at once and the simulator start loading) And the simulator's UI doesn't appear.I can'tt hear the hard disk's rotating I check it in the process manager,I found the simulator.exe,but it has only two threads. Then nothing happens. And after 12minutes,the loading picture of 2 F-15C appears....... I don't know why my computer suddenly become such annoying I do not think that it is because of the old hardware ;One month ago the computer load the FC2 very fast.What's more, when I use the DCS:World luancher, the DCS:World's simulator also come out very fast. Is there somebody can help me?

  21. I agree that visual ID and details in graphic are important. However the methods to benefit the visual identification in a sim doesn't means it should be based on hard ware resources using. In BMS4 although the graphic is absolutly inferior to DCS, we can still distinguish between a MIG-21 and a J-8 I mean that ED(Or its third partner) tend to make very exaggerated settings http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=51339 not only in data but also in its 3d models. e.g they set the maximum visual distance for military operation 80kilometers........ Visua identification does not necessarily means more and more polygons. Will a 3000 polygon part be more recognizable than a 1500 polygon part when the plane itself is a small dot on the screen? My concept is that every polygon count. What's more many identification can be realized by the combination of texture and model You may think this idea is funny,but when you've got 1000 missiles in the air ...You may feel that this missile doesn't worth lots of polygons.
