  1. Calm down guys and deal with it. Propably those mesh problems never will be fixed by ED. Unfortunately. Many years gone and still there are numerous mesh and animation porblems with A-10A/C, Ka-50, F-15C/E, Su-27/33 models too, moreover with the brandnew MiG-29A/G/S models too. (Oups, yep, that's a beta wip model,. Maybe same as the others mentioned above.) Honestly, some experinced hard-core modders are able to fix those problem in an hour. Or less. Model makers of ED would fix that problems in 10 minutes. Sad, but they won't. Pretty sure. Not on their priority list :(
  2. Uhh man, you are very persistent :) So, AFAIK there are 3 models on your 3 screenshots. 1 pilot is part of the F/A-18C model. Other 2 are seperate model. Pilot in the seat and pilot under the chute. Unfortunately I am not at my rig now, so I can't tell you the exact name of the models but those are in the shapes folder as *pilot*.edm. Use Uboats' livery extractor to get the right material and texture names.   3. Unfortunately that PDF is imperfect and amateurish. Lots of deficient information. Country names what starts with "H" is completely missing. Such as Honduras, Hong Kong, Hungary. India, Indonesia and the beggining of Iran too. (Maybe it's missing a full page) Bahhh :doh:

  5. Yeah, very nice but the diameter of the flame rings should be adjusted to the shape of the texture of the afterburner cone. Shockwave rings are too small. Re-heat rings look too big. Unfortunately.

  8. Frankly guys you have no idea how far went IRIS in the progress of development. (F-14A, BD-5J, F-22A, Avro Vulcan etc.) IIRC the biggest problem was lack of CPP programmer but the 3D models and the SFM/AFM were ready for AIs and for FC3 simulation.
  9. Ok, thanks. I got it but i don't think it was an older method because it's FPS friendly. Omni and projected light are not. Textures of walls of Nevada hangars and buildings use it too to simulate lighted surfaces by theoretic wall-lamp-bodies.
  10. Baked light ? What does it mean ? Maybe a self-illuminated texture ? Please give me some actual DCS examples what cockpit or aircraft use "Baked light" because I can't get that expression. TY
  11. Thanks SkateZilla but unfortunately that's not enough. I need an original like the stab and wing psd. I need with the sperated weathering, occlusion, rivets, markings etc. layers. At least would be good to use that :(
  12. Nice cockpit. Looks great. However lights are not volumetric. Not bad but looks basic omnilights. To use REAL volumetric lights make sense only in larger spaces.
