Ok sure, maybe it will help. :) I fly on the 104th Multiplayer server. They have their Huey's over weighted in default loadouts. I go to adjust my fuel and make the Huey lighter - however - if you touch any other buttons - like say the batts, doors, radios or something/anything else before requesting a loadout change nothing changes. You have to ask for load out change before you touch anything else. Maybe an ED bug or something. I thought I was changing my loadout and I could not get it off of the ground. However I had started my radios so loadout was not changing - thought it was a Beta problem in the Huey. Just had to change my procedure. Touch nothing before changing loadout....sorted. :)

Crazy DCS BlackShark theme PC mod!

Sick, Sick, Sick, OMG great system....Did I say that thing is SICK! -
I have to say I am really impressed with Belsimtek. I finally bought the Huey - thought I would never leave the A10C- but now get little seat time in the Warthog. I find it hard to leave the Huey. Feels like I was born to fly it. Also reading about it's first incarnation of the Huey and then Belsimtek adding so many of the request people have made. While other mod developers still cannot make their first release Belsimtek makes a release and adds loads of things to it. I will +1 for some type of passengers. I understand it would be hard (if not impossible) to make them run up and jump in and also unload. But that part might could be scripted separately by mission designers. What would be cool is have them appear in the back and add to the weight. So maybe Vietnam era and/or Modern solider choice.? Again Thanks Belsimtek - you guys are really dialed in!! :smartass:

Did you ever figure this out? I haven't.

Can EMC run both Beta and non beta versions? I currently have it working great in the non beta but want to try it in the new beta. Do I have to "Restore" the non beta files in order to repoint it to the beta?

Thanks Howie and Snoopy, Yeah I looked at the 476 stuff for a few weeks now. You guys are really dialed in. I am a member over at the 476 forums and enjoy reading about things you guys do. Snoopy is a true asset. If I was to join a Squadron the 476 would be the one for me. Again appreciate the info.

Well that is good enough for me. :) I remembered from GA it was set to flash before start up but went off of a few vids I had watched. Going to amend our setup - Like the Flash better any hoo. OK one question about the Moody setup: So we are in the cockpit and just have power on, getting radio checks done, making sure everyone is in, doing a quick brief. Do we have Position to Steady and then change them to Flash once we get Start Up clearance as a warning to ground crew?
-
In the end this is what we adopted: Parking Area - (Before Startup- with APU or Ground Power) Wait for Lead to call out: Lights in the parking areas. After that follow these light procedures POSITION LTS: to STEADY NOSE ILLUM: ON ANTI COLLISION: OFF FORMATION:OFF TAXI LIGHT: OFF Once Taxi Clearance is received: POSITION LTS: FLASH ANTI COLLISION: ON TAXI LIGHTS: ON - If ground crew present wait until they are clear of front Cleared for Take Off: POSITION LTS: STEADY NOSE ILLUM: OFF ANTI COLLISION: ON TAXI LIGHT: LANDING -Once lined up on runway Night - FORMATION: BRIGHT Once Airbourne - IF in formation : POSITION LTS: STEADY ANTI COLLISION: OFF Strobe is off to not distract your wingman. (singleton use Strobes) FORMATION:ON BRIGHT TAXI LIGHT: OFF FENCH IN Lead: Fence In - ALL LIGHTS OFF - FORMATION: BRIGHT can stay on if briefed

WIP DCS A-10C and Teamspeak 3 Integration
Need-To-Know replied to Headspace's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
Yeah different things work for different people to get it running and (in our case at least) we rolled back to TS3.0.11 and also adjusted the TS Virtual server.: Teamspeak>Right clicked on our Server name in the TS left top box > Manage Virtual Server > Anti-Flood need to be changed from “Reduced points per click” from 5 to 15. Also shutting down our Virus software. Not sure which one won the prize but it is sure great that it is working now. Best of luck and yes it is worth it. So toss the guy a bone and donate. -

Hi Eddie or whoever. So if we setup our own server how do I enable export? And what setting would I need to make to allow the server to enable TARs? Thanks :) -
Another My Helios stopped working
Need-To-Know replied to Need-To-Know's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Interesting - So maybe when I changed the bak and restored the other then went back into the profile editor (as per your suggestion) the Setup DCS A-10C needed to be pressed again. _ I am spitball'n here. And walla it works again. Shoo wee - Been waiting for the new gear (replacement for defective warthog) for 2 weeks. Glad everything is back up. I'll drop a little something, something, in your Donation box Gadroc. Thanks guys for the help! -

Need-To-Know replied to Need-To-Know's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Sorry to be noobish - I did a search and found the an Export.lua here: D:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Scripts Is that the correct location? And how do I restore it? Also another thing I thought of - I did buy combined ops last week and installed it - if that makes a differance. Thanks SkateZ! BTW gotta a cool way I setup the TM MFDs on the dell touchscreen I want to show you sometime - will post pic later. -
Soo I have read through as many of the forums about helios stopping but so far none have helped. The situation - I had Helios was working fine then today I received a new WARTHOG stick and throttle, and hooked up 2 TM MFDs. Now helios starts fine (all permissions set to admin) but once in the game nothing in helios appears to be connected. Gauges do not work, touchscreen buttons do not work. Using Latest version of Helios. Running EMC working fine and connecting. I tried a basic uninstall of Helios and reinstall. I had TARS installed but uninstalled and have not started Teamspeak anyways. Path is correct.....I am stumped.

Thanks effte, Good call on the other thread - Took away some brevity I did not know and will adjust our "speak" a bit with that. LIGHTS - Means = Position lights SMASH - Means= Anti-collision lights I have added a proposal for our squadron for these light procedures. Once approved I may post our procedures here. Rep added

So I still have not finalized my squadrons light procedures yet. Currently my Real World fighter pilot buddy is in Virginia Beach getting qualified on the F18 Charlie. I did watch this video. (BOTTOM) Notes from the video: Start it at 6:16 for lights Looks like: In parking: NOSE ILLUM: ON POSITION LTS: STEADY ANTI COLLISION: OFF FORMATION:OFF TAXI LIGHT: OFF Taxi: NOSE ILLUM: ON POSITION LTS: FLASH ANTI COLLISION: ON FORMATION:OFF TAXI LIGHT: ON Note on Taxi Light -Kept off when Marshaller is working with AC Take Off: Switch from Taxi to Landing lights
-
Just an interesting video of Red Flag you can see different light setups. Generally from several videos looks like Position lights Steady, Anti Collision lights, and Taxi lights on in the evenings sometimes during the day. Seems like not a standard Still not sure of SOP but have a buddy that flies F5s/F18c and will ask him.
