  1. Ok noted thanks.
  2. Thanks for pointing out. Not sure where else may we get the correct and usable depression table values, now that the hundredth number cannot be changed.
  3. Saw on youtube that it could be set to the hundredths, maybe viewing could be done by camera shift.
  4. Can the developer please response to this issue? This one seems definitely to be a bug.
  5. Was doing random ILS at Sinai map, can’t quite remember which airfields now. Could be ILS issue there.
  6. Just owned the F4 for a couple of days. Even with many years of simming all types of fighters, I have much difficulty doing even level turn in the F4. Anyone managed to do this consistently? Makes me wonder how the Thunder Birds did their formation flying.
  7. On IL approach, it seems the glideslope indicator appears too high when nearer the airport. Anyone else notices this?
  8. Bought the MB-339 last week and I'm loving it much. Noticed the Hundredth digit setting for the depression gun sight can only be set to max of 1, whereas the tenth and ones are able to go from 1 to 9. Can the developer please look into this? Thanks.
  9. I opened this topic again as the previous one was locked. I raised this problem up to this forum years ago, had seen many others griped about this same issue, but years later now in version II the problem still remains (very frustrating). Here’s a just observed issue that may hopefully help narrow down possible causes. In Afghanistan map, whenever the A10 was loaded with weapons, this pitch up problem always happen when crossing threshold, like others reported. BUT when on empty load, NO pitch up was observed. Can someone try and see if you see this too? By the way, such problem also occurs in some other maps, but surprisingly, Sinai map seems to give no such problem to the A10. Is there somehow a map-dependant cause behind? *** Correction - Just discovered that Tel Nof in Sinai does have that issue at Rwy 36. Not sure any others have that problem, though so far quite many others on that map seem to behave well.
  10. OK great, now I'll have to search where is that switch in English.
  11. Didn't know that switch has any effect on the TV's ability to On or Off. Doesn't seem obvious. Will try out.
  12. With both landing lamps (front and rear) lowered and switched on, only the front lamp comes on, but the one behind has got no light. Can the back one be controlled? If so, is there another key bind?
  13. Discovered that the Shkval TV is always ON and cannot be set to OFF whenever Gun mode is in use. Only when in rocket or Vikr mode can the TV be set to OFF. Anyone else observed this? Is it supposed to be this way? It is better if the TV could be switched off when in gun mode, as it makes for better FPS during strafing.

    F15E PILOT VISOR

This visor thing definitely needs to be fixed. It is only fair to at least revert to what it should be.
  15. I will definitely still fly the eagle even in its current state. One of the very best in flying characteristics, and a bunch of capabilities. Sure would be a huge bonus if further upgrades could be made.
  16. Thanks Jamie, will try it out again and see if it's back to what I remember the AG radar to be before.
  17. Anyone can please help verify on this one? Anyone observed about this problem too?
  18. Can someone help verify, in the latest ED radar patch is the ground radar working like before? HRM map seems locked in place even when plane flies around, with the North arrow situational symbol fixed in position, changing direction only after flying over map area. And the radar cursor seems locked in place too at times. Also, there was a CTD just after about 15 mins working the AG radar.

    F15E not Usable?

Thanks for following up on this one Jamie.

    F15E not Usable?

Just downloaded file but upon unzipped, Norton went on to remove the TimeFix.dll file, reporting that it is unsafe. Anyone else seen this? Is it safe to use?
  22. Thanks. That is not good. Will try roll back date and see if it works. Anyone else seen this issue? It was still fine as of yesterday 13 June.
  23. Radar was still working fine yesterday, but now it stays stuck in standby mode, even with radar switch in ON. Just will not do any sweep. Anyone has this problem? Or is this related to the dispute going on?
  24. After having used the DCS A10C (and a bunch of others) for many years, i am convinced the problem seems very much like due to too coarse roll trim. The pane does not roll in opposite way after without further input like what some mentioned here. Rather, each trim is so coarse that it tilts and roll the plane off what could have been a well trimmed out level flight. Autopilot is great, but in an intense ground hunt looking out and/or trying to line stuff up in TPod, that uncommanded, untrimmed setting that rolls the jet off intended attitude is just sheer pain that dilutes much of the joy of an otherwise almost real sim. Youtube videos i seen before in cockpit shows trimming in pitch occasionally yes, but roll trim almost non existent and yet the jet flies level and nice. As said before, the DCS F15E trims out really, really well in both axes, really fine enough trim input. Each A10C roll trim feels like about 3x that of the eagle, if i have to compare.
  25. A well trimmed aircraft stays straight and level for a minute or two, but this A10C can do that only a second or two, it seems ! The DCS F15E is able to level trim very well, with each trim input press only inputting a small amount, whereas the A10C per trim input is just too much. Feels like half the time fighting the aircraft rather than the enemy, when looking outside. Even flying straight with just the roll trim seems more economical (and necessary every 2 seconds) than having to move the stick. Granted, those with a long stick extension probably helps somewhat, but that is more of an exception.
