Haven't noticed that bug in 1.2, so it seems that it appeared in 1.5. There seems to be a serious desync in the multiplayer sometimes. There is gotta be something wrong with netcode xD. It happens from time to time and its hard to catch and it also seems to appear in different forms. It's hard to explain, but I'll try: Lets say we have planes A and B A and B are flying head-on. A can't spot B at all, because he is just not appearing for A at all, or is in a completely different place. However, for B, A is there and B can easily kill him. I have a video of the tracks from two different perspectives demonstrating the bug . On the video, for the guy in the F-15(server host), Su-27(client) was never there(like it haven't spawned). However for Su-27, F-15 was there. No rwr spikes were received on both sides. Tracks also attached. Desync_Mica(server)_perspective.trk Desync_Dack(client)_perspective.trk

Found out that if you look at fuel gauge before unpausing, fuel quantity looks correct, but after unpause fuel goes away. Also if you look outside the plane before unpausing, when you unpause, you can see that your plane changes atitude quantum leap like :). Last bit doesn't seem to happen to other planes.

Перегрузка в 69g Можно при скорости по прибору 2290 при отключении СДУ выкинуть такое и никаких последствий)) 70 вроде текущий предел..Самолет взрывается. WTF1.trk

First of, thanks for response and all the links. Yes I have read that. And that is exactly the kind of guide I was looking for except it only has one part! Now I came across DCS Witchcraft and MIST, and those must be great tools for an experienced DCS scripter, but for a noob they are just additional pile of "whatisthat" and "wheredoistart" questions in addition to original game. So for you those tools make life easier, for a noob like me - they just complicate things. Of course I visited those pages. Got "deer in the headlights look" there. It feels that you learn more from just creating a mission with one unit and then reading through mission.lua from .miz file :)

Hello, everyone. Let's start by saying that I have 0 experience in DCS scripting engine :). I understand .lua a bit (I can write a basic calculator that runs in command prompt xD) , but I still can't understand simulator scripting engine "syntax". I have read Introduction to Simulator Scripting Engine article on Hoggit wiki but it didn't make any sense for a noob like me. It starts too complex. So my first question is: Is there any Simulator Scripting Engine guide that starts explaining things from "total noob in DCS scripting" level? Now, back to my specific problem.I was creating a mission today with some triggers and I ran into a problem. Imagine a trigger zone that has x amount of red coalition ground units in it, some of them being from different groups(that part is important). I needed a condition that performed some action if 90percent or more (or just y ammont or more)of those red units in the trigger zone get destroyed. The closest condition game offers is something like "group alive less then y percent". But I need something trigger zone related and not specific group. If that is not a hard to make script, can someone post it here? That will probably help me and others to understand simulator scripting engine "syntax" alot more :). Thanks!

I think there is some disbalance in terms of ground troops. On the red side, ground units are more grouped together(each unit closer to each other, then on blue). Spread between some blue ground units is insane (up to 1 km). That makes it harder for Red team, because 1: Harder to search more spread units. 2: Impossibility to employ cbu-97 or 105 effectively. Both of the reasons will make red strikers to spend much more time in AO! -

I was flying on SPC(Smile Pilots Club or something) Russian server. Its aerobatics server however it has a2g training too. I was doing air-to-air refuel on su-33 and after one of refuel interruptions (due to my sucky flight skill xD) game froze for a second or two, then one of the next frames showed up and the game froze forever. I don't think its related to what I was doing at the moment. I think it can happen anytime. I'm gonna clear my logs and wait for new crash xD.

CPU: i5 3570k RAM: 8GB DDR3 GPU: GTX 770 Yes I repaired a lot of times, because i use mods, and sometimes break something :). I tried to run DCS as admin couple of times but it can still crash like that. So any idea why there is no .dmp or .crash files for some of my crashes?

Just had a crash too. Can someone take a look? Why only dcs.txt is updated? there is no, lets say .dmp file for many of my crashes? PS: Opps sorry, my version is 1.5 Logs.zip

Хорошо что перенесли. Зато можно в Fallout 4 спокойно поиграть) Допустим ситуацию. Ты теряешь соперника из виду, и начинаешь например удирать вверх на миге (что-бы сопернику было нелегко сесть на хвост). И допустим ты так и не смог восстановить визуальный контакт с противником на протяжение некоторого времени, и ты продолжаешь удирать вверх. Это считается пассивным ведением боя?

DCS 1.5 randomly crashes with memory errors... its a bad idea to do a tournament there. And unless mig-15bis pilots are gonna be total noobs like me, mig-15 will win! -

Не совсем понял почему крен. А вообще, лучше уточнить, о какой стадии полета идет речь? Но все равно, с этим всем вообще что-то не так! Ветер наверно имеет постоянную скорость. Скорость ветра 50м/с (т.е. 180км/ч, т.е. 112миль/час). Смотрим на приборную скорость после поворота к ветру: около 90миль/ч. В принципе это норм т.к ветер у земли выставляется на высоте 10 метров в редакторе, так что может он замедлился об препятствия и от трения об землю скажем)). Но после взлета происходит странное. Приборная скорость вырастает почти до 200 миль в час в почти стоящем над землей самолетом. По логике вещей мы должны уже должны двигаться с истинной скоростью 88 миль в час вперед, а самолет "стоит"
