  1. It was used in Syria. It's essentially like a CBU-97, and contains 15 smart AT munitions with dual mode IR seeker. They were delivered by an Su-24 but can also be delivered by Smerch. http://armamentresearch.com/rbk-500-spbe-cargo-munitions-employed-in-syria/
  2. I found Ka-34 referenced in an old military journal and it also seems to be the nomenclature used in scale modelling. It also brings up the Ka-50 on a Google search. https://www.amazon.com/ESCI-9073-Kamov-KA-34-Hokum/dp/B008R9U3SU
  3. Looking back at old literature, did people use to think they were Ka-34s or something?
  4. Probably a few interesting bits that were less talked about.
  5. Quite cool actually, because I think I missed the first episode of Airwolf back in the day, so seeing it was interesting.
  6. More importantly, they're re-showing Airwolf on this channel.:D
  7. How much is it on finance?
  8. What channel number is Forces TV? EDIT - 96 it seems. https://www.freeview.co.uk/news-and-blog/forces-tv-is-now-on-freeview.html#oCiYtEPPJSJDsZkO.97
  9. That seems to have been the policy with nearly all EF development, and it has lost orders due to that policy. Saved money cost money.
  10. So what is the schedule for actually qualifying the CFTs?
  11. What are these?
  12. It talked about micro-missiles but showed what appeared to be a Kornet-E at 4:24.
  13. This is fast becoming a bad joke. https://www.yahoo.com/gma/us-warship-collides-japanese-tug-boat-latest-mishap-163007585--abc-news-topstories.html
  14. https://www.defensenews.com/digital-show-dailies/dubai-air-show/2017/11/10/us-air-force-official-confirms-rumors-of-f-35-talks-with-uae/ US Air Force official confirms rumors of F-35 talks with UAE
  15. The User Interface is really that bad?
  16. Looks slightly more like an SA-5 layout. http://www.ausairpower.net/APA-Rus-SAM-Site-Configs-A.html
  17. When has an S-200 ever scored a direct hit? Why do you think it has a 200kg warhead? A missile that was going off course and blowing up hospitals during Operation Grand Canyon in '86 is suddenly capable of nailing F-35s bang on the nose?
  18. Scary bit at 15:20.
  19. That's 4 in 6 weeks after only 2 in 14 years.
  20. But then it wouldn't be a WWII fighter if it had ceramic composite skin and prop. I honestly can't imagine where this question originated from.
  21. No Rutan Ares Mudfighter?
  22. Structural damage, no suitable method of control, no way to control the plane when decelerating through Mach 1. But to be cheeky, by inference, if heating doesn't occur, then friction can't exist, which means that none of the 4 fundamental forces exist and the universe will fall apart.
