Hi Folks, I like to just take this bird for a fly about and was wondering if it is possible to remove the gun sight? I can see any option for it in 'specials'. Is it something we can do ourselves or is the cockpit all 'hard coded'? Maybe it could be a 'tick box' option BST would consider for the future? Loving flying the bird. Thanks.

Hi Folks, I like to do some night/dawn/dusk flying in the Mig15 and I'm having a bit of a problem with the cockpit lighting. I can turn the instrument lights on when starting up but then they fade out and I cant get then lit again? Is this a known problem or am I missing something? Thanks.

Yeah your right man. Would be nice to 'Imagine' the Mig15/F86/Mig21 as a carrier capable A/C. At least until we get a carrier capable A/C that has AFM. Just because the Mod is there don't mean you got to use it!:joystick:

Hi Folks. Ive searched the forums and done google search but cant find the answer to this one. How do you remove the usa markings from the f-86 when you are using a new livery. Ive picked up a real nice Vietnam era skin but the usa markings are still showing on the wings. I know it can be done I just cant remember how. Thanks.

Hi EightBall, this looks real nice and I would like to fly it in single player. What triggers would I have to modify to lessen the amount of cargo that needs delivering before things start to happen? Do you plan to do a single player version? Many thanks for this mission.

I'm right it is there. In pic1 I haven't loaded another A/C before the mig21. In pic2 I have loaded another A/C before the mig21. If you want proper night flying you have to load another A/C before the Mig21. :huh:?????? That is the solution if you have this problem.

That was not the effect I was getting Frischi. I was getting the ground for about 1/4 of a K lit up around the aircraft even when in the air I think Art-J right.

Now wondering if I'm loseing my mind..... I just fired up the sim to take some screenshots......Its gone..... I swear I tried to do some night flying a few nights ago and it was as Ive stated. Now Ive just got to get all those fairies dancing around in front of the aircraft out of the way and I'm ready to go.............

Thanks for trying to help Folks but thats not my problem. Its a bug. Try this and you will see what I'm saying. Sit in the SU25/A10C at night on the ramp and look around. Its all dark about you. Do the same in the Mig21 and look around. Its like you have a big spot light over you that follows you about. I seem to remember an A/C having the same problem years ago. I think it was the A10C. Just have to wait for it to be sorted out.

Hi Folks, I want to do some night flying in the Mig21 but am I'm having some trouble. When I make it night it looks like I'm carrying a flare around with me. No matter what I do I can see the ground around me. I tried the same thing with the SU25 and it is proper night. Every thing is dark. Is it a bug or am I doing something wrong? Thanks.

Ive had a good look around for the answer to this one but cant find it..... It says in updates:- DCS: UH-1H Created default joystick profiles for: - Saitek X52 Flight Control System and Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedal (Real Mode) where is the profile for the pro flight rudder pedals stored? I cant find it when I hit the load profile button.

Ive noticed the transition is a lot, lot better. I can now hold a smooth 500ft/per min decent while reducing speed on the approach. The terrible drastic dip that has you grabbing to much collective is gone. Great work Belsimtec. Luv the UH1.

Hi Gaanalma, Ive just flown in to Mozdok and the ILS bars worked. Many thanks for your help.

My ILS bars are not working. Had a bit of a fly around some airfields last night and they never kicked in once. The Flight Director bars are operating and they will get you down but no ILS. Anyone else spotted this? Enjoying the Aircraft though. Thanks.

An interesting point intelligently made MAC. Interesting thread. The FM does seem a bit dull in the spin. It is still in Beta so we wait and see.........

Hi Go2thev, I've been looking at this this morning. I was getting terrible stutter and real fps problems with the latest Nvidia driver last night. Especially when looking down into the cockpit. I've done a bit of reading and just rolled back to V335.23. People saying there was some new aspect introduced into the driver after this version they are not happy is working as best it could be. I now get a steady 60 fps when looking down in the cockpit and its far smoother. Maybe this work for you? Good luck.

HI skull, Just managed to do some touch & go's without bursting a tire. It can be done but things still need turning down a bit with the bounce at rolling speed. Hope track file helps.:thumbup: Touch and go's mig21.trk edit:-I see your earlier post now. Now you landing good.

Your on the case skull. I did some touch & go's last night and was going to start something like this thread this morning. Yeah, still like on a dirt path at speed. Taxing is a lot, lot better. But I was bursting tires and it was not due to excessive speed or weight. The thing is bouncing around that much rolling at speed that the tires refuse to take the punishment. The bounce at speed still needs turning down a bit. Great that they have got the updates out as quickly as they have though. Shows real commitment to the product.
