This is a problem if you have water set to low. unfortunatley you have to set water to at least medium for the problem to stop.

Edit: another read of the instructions has sorted this problem. Hi Folks, I'm doing a new computer build and have managed to get DCS loaded back up. The thing is that now when I use this (fantastic) mod things are as dark as night with an overcast sky? Has anyone encountered this and know how to fix it? Many thanks.

Are we sure the PFM is added? I dint see it in the changelog?

Rolled back to win 10 1803....problems gone.....now cleaning up the mess....

Thanks for the pointer discwalker. Im off tomorrow and was going to be back at this in the morning. My next angle of attack is windows. I'm going to try a windows repair and if that doesnt work revert to 1803. Edit:- Caution people....Microsofts advice "If you have manually downloaded the Windows 10 October 2018 Update installation media, please don’t install it and wait until new media is available." I have a feeling this might be a windows problem Ive got.........

Hi Folks, Since the last Win 10 update two of my installs wont start:- 1.5 wont start - log attached 2.5 wont start - log attached OB will start no problems :) I've tried a fresh install of 1.5 but still having same problem. I've run advanced system care and ccleaner. I have also turned off win defender and antivirus still no joy. Can anyone help? Many thanks. 1.5.txt 2.5 OA.txt

Hi Trigen, I'm having this same problem after the latest win 10 update. You say it fixed after an update? Do you mean windows update or DCS? I did a clean reinstall of 1.5 this morning and am still getting the same error. Are you able to add any more detail? Many thanks.

Thanks guys, I'll go with your advice on this, just do the graphics card and leave it there. I've got an evening off and am looking forward to some more testing but from what Ive seen there is a big improvement on the PG map. Many thanks.

Hi Folks, I get a really noticeable big stutter whenever I use the nose down trim or use the gear. I tried to assign different switches and tried a reinstall last night but its still there. Is it just my set-up or is anyone else getting this? Thanks.

Hi Folks, Nice find Mustang. My 1080 was showing the same number as my USB hub. A quick check last night and I was getting much less stutter with the PG map. Ive done a little bit of reading up here and dont really understand it but..... Do you think it would help to try to put my USB hub in MSI mode as well? Going a step further how about putting everything listed by the utility in MSI mode. Is this a 'Go or No Go'? Many thanks again to you Mustang

Hi Folks, I found last night that if I introduce an overcast the lights on the carrier do not come on when you call for landing. I turned the overcast off and kept the time of day the same and when I called for landing the lights came on. Anyone else finding this or is it a fault with my set up? Cheers.

I managed to get this sorted last night. I noticed while having a look around SkateZillas DCS utility tool that you can uninstall moduels from there. I uninstalled CA from there and then reinstalled from moduel manager in DCS. CA is now is working correctly. DCS module manager was not controling the install.

Still cant get this working people. The main CA folder seems to have been moved recently. Does anyone know where CA installs to? Ive tried to uninstall and reinstall through moduel manager but that seems to do nothing. I'll try to delete the main file in folders and reinstall but cant find it. Thanks.

Thanks for trying to help folks. I've had a look in the manual and it seems all I need to do to control my f18's/harriers while in the cockpit is tick 'Pilot can control vehicles' in the ME. It works with previous versions I have installed. It seems 2.5.2.19682 is broken for CA! Is anyone able to confirm they have CA working in 2.5.2.19682?

Hi Folks, (2.5.2.19682) Ive got 'Pilot can control vehicles' ticked in the ME but when I run the mission I cannot control my AI Aircraft in the F10 map. No CA menu appears when I click on the unit? No CA menu appears for any unit land or air? Is there a new way of activating CA in ME? Thanks. edit- Ive moved a mission that I know works with CA in 1.5 to 2.5 and it don't work in 2.5 - no CA menu in F10 map? I take it CA does work in 2.5? If so is it worth trying an uninstall reinstall?

Hi, A good tip I picked up from one of the VFA-113 Guys was to up my Anisotropic filtering from X2 to X8. With X2 I could not see the deck but I can with X8.

You need to edit line 8 of the MissionEditor.lua file in the DCS\Mission Editor folder and remove the comment lines ( -- ) from the beginning of the line. Make sure to use a proper tool for this like Notepad ++

Hate to be a stick in the mud gent's but I really like the rain on the canopy the way it is. I had a look at it out of VR and didnt like it. In VR its really effective (IMO) of light rain. (now I wait for some stick);)

Does anybody know if it will be released for V2.5.1.16978.363 so that we can use it with DS off? Or is ED intending to bring beta to release at the same time so that it can only be used with DS on?
