Hi guys, This ship (attached image) is supposed to store two sh 60 in its two hangars. However I think DCS 3D models is way out of proportion in regards of size. Look at the size of one helicopter compared to the size of the hangars. Thoughts?

Yeap It is still a bug. Like I said in my first post, this has nothing to do on how you may think an FD works. It has to do on how an ILS is built, and it it built on a SINGLE beam that the reciever (aircraft) gets. Therefore it is not affected by course selector since it is acquiring ONE signal. Take my word as a 15 years pilot career on my back. Otherwise just read how an ILS is built :)

Well, I do have problems at finding targets like if the radar's power was from the 50's. But tracking... Never.

Not only Im not the only one not experiencing that, but also you could read some radar articles to see if you are missing something. It's never too late to learn.

Was it ever confirmed as a bug? Are you sure you are not just being notched or lost in sidelobe? It makes me wonder since Ive never experienced that. But jeez I experienced other bugs :D

Wasnt this already fixed? Ive never had trouble with losing a lock.

Also, I just realized that the box DOES behaves like flight director on the GS part!! Its telling you exactly what attitude you should have to follow a perfect glide path. So... ideas?

I think that if Dassault made the box a flight director then maybe DCS Mirage should also have it that way.

I think a bug report is almost useless now with Razbam. Too much effort on the Harrier and the Mirage's FM update.

The star is actually the point in which you want the FPM to fly the plane to. Its controlled by the trim hat in hotas. The director should indicate the pilot what to do during manual flight, not during automatic one. The star dissapears after disconnecting the ap. I agree we need some mirage pilot to tell us how it was done ;) Jeez I would really like to read something about the ADI!

Correct, almost all AP ILS capable planes display the commands, that's why I asked about the ADI, i find it very strange. Thank you.

That above is the one thing you're righr. Maybe that confirms everything about me being wrong. What does the real manual say aboout the indications in the ADI? I find those to hardly be deviations, all yellow needles are directors for international convention. Can you find that? I could not get to the real manual online, dont know where else to look. Sorry for before.

I thought so too, but it seems setting it manually does work. The drawback is that I have civil transport flights from the opposite side and they try to shoot them down too. Damn ME!

Ok, I deleted my posts in order to keep the discussion on track. What other proof is needed? Im not sure if it was clear or something else is on the table. We have Razbam acknowledge, a video of the same system, a word of a pilot, the nature of an FPM during ILS. If the manual (written by Razbam not the real plane) says to actively put the fpm inside the box they are referring to FD, otherwise it would say put THE BOX in the center of the HUD and then keep the FPM inside. Maybe i came too harsh on people who are not pilots, but the error exists.
