  1. Oh ok! Now I see. Thanks!
  2. Sorry guys, but I just read this thread and didnt understand if the updates are already available for downloading or its for the next patch. What confused me was "here are the updates I pushed today". Sorry, bad english.
  3. And that's how you destroy someone's dream :D
  4. Yeah, definitely fixed, no 0 but blank figure is now available. Like I said, I did it yesterday with channel 5Y
  5. I actually used Y and just the number 1 in the ME. It worked like a charm with the kc 135
  6. Isnt it the same to put X1? I did it and it works.

    A-A TACAN

There is no doppler shift in any of this, just two different phased signals being compared.
  8. Was this fixed? Can we reach tankers with tacan now? Is the Y band the only way? thanks
  9. Yes I agree, just pointed out what the other guys said that made me wonder. Thanks.
  10. Ok, I see. Doesnt seem to be the consensus here, but I understand. Thanks.
  11. But the guy I quoted, quoted another guy who said that the mirage cannot see in 3d and the cross should always be in the ground.

    prf radar modes

Does this mean the carrier frequency can change to have longer pulse width?

    prf radar modes

Also, pulse width is subject to the carrier frequency, is that right? There are still things unclear for me.
  14. Do we know for sure what the real aircraft can or cant do in this regard? Would be cool to know in order to reflect the real thing.
  15. Yes please. This is s terrific feature. Precision bombing ccrp must also be fixed.
  16. Has this been fixed :) ?
  17. Wait, I thought about it. What is the exact issue about entering the distance in kms north/south and east/west from the latitude and longitude?
  18. 1. That feature is for ground troops who use maps in kms. 2. What would you like to know? I could elaborate more, but dont know which part was not clear. Sorry man. Thanks.
  19. Good catch, I guess I got mixed up with the errors in DCS. By the way, it is called longitude north or meridian north, not latitude. So I guess the INS gets useless on the left side of crimea, as it will calculate the wrong direction of correction versus what it is comparing, since in DCS declination gets compared to grid north and not true north or meridian north. Whats worse, nevada has all the same mistakes as the caucasus.
  20. Not useless if you tune them to treat true north as one equal in the whole map. One thing I was surprised about today, is that the Mirage shows positive declination in the INS no matter if you are in the left side of the crimea peninsula or to the right of it. That is so wrong it makes me
  21. Yeap! I replied here as well. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3290138&postcount=9 Thanks

    TN, MG PCN Input

Hi guys, I wanted to tell things like IRL. As a pilot it gets hard for me to express myself in DCS terms only, my mistake. Lets see. True North = The lines that you follow parallel to the meridians which will get you to the north pole Magnetic North = Is the "north" that you will reach if you follow the N in a compass. Since there is declination in the Earth, if you follow a compass all the way to the N you will reach a point very deviated to the actual north. Grid North = The north that you trace on a map, a perfect straight vertical line on a map is the grid north, which will not be the same as the true north except for one point in the map that is called the center of the cartesian axis for a given projection. So yes, as I learned today, you have to put whatever the ruler says in the PCN. But just in DCS, in the real m2000 you need to put true north which you will get by tracing the angle FROM the meridian that crosses your navigational point. Cheers.

Nop, the ruler shows grid north. True north is meridians north. Thanks for the other link though.
