Hey guys, I've been messing around with the Eagle a little more, learning radar use, I've set this "Radar Horizontal" to a rotary on my HOTAS but I can't figure out what it's supposed to do, as far as I can tell when I move the axis nothing happens. Radar Vertical seems to work fine, however. Anyone knows? Thanks.

Try holding down the electronic caging button during high g maneuvers, when you release it should stabilize faster than just letting it float around. You shouldn't need to set the wingspan, as far as I know that's only if the radar or gunsight is damaged or something.

Thanks for this, I didn't think of using brakes to stay straight after touch down, now I can actually land without skidding around all over the place :P

Some good advice on this thread. I was really struggling and blew up like 40 times or so :noexpression: but kept on trying and coming back reading tips on here and now I can take off most of the time. There's no problem with the tail wheel, just have to keep practicing! :pilotfly:

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that the 190 breaks apart more nicely now? Did a few 1 on 1s just now and a few times tail section and wings came off together. I know it happened before but it seems more often now.

Hehe this is very true :P I've managed to take off twice in a row now though without blowing up. I think my problem was letting the stick center itself too quickly :joystick: Edit: Or... y'know.. maybe those were flukes because now I can't seem to do it again! :D

I've also noticed that for some reason during the take off roll as soon as I input any rudder the pilot begins to breath heavily, like when experiencing over g. I still can't get past the 170 kph mark, have tried keeping straight by tapping wheel brakes and by not pulling the stick too far aft but the same thing happens every time, soon as the stick is centered I lose control and explode :lol:

I'm struggling a little too, I can keep straight up until 170 KPH but lose control once I center the stick after that. Although I struggled for a while with the P51 also, just got to keep practicing I think. :)

So the F86 is the first time I've bought a module that's still in beta and was wondering how often updates are likely to roll out?

Are there any plans to introduce different ammo types for the 50 cals? AP and incendiary rounds were used by F86 pilots in the Korean war so it'd be cool if we could use them in the sim. :thumbup:
