  1. Hmm, it should only be a cross if you're trying to do an ILS landing. As I understand it, You are to maneuver the plane so that the velocity vector on the HUD is following the navigation line and it will bring you to the correct steerpoint as indicated on the HUD. You can double check your steering with the HSI on the front dash. You can also enable the auto pilot once you're on the correct course, which I always do if the waypoint is far.
  2. Sorry for the dumb question, I'm no expert with the mission builder but how does one use this script?
  3. There is a Russian betty, in options set cockpit language to Russian. A question though: I find the bettys to be really annoying, I didn't see a way to disable them permanently in the options so I went into my install folder looking for the sound files so I could delete them but I couldn't find them, could someone point me in the right direction?
  4. No worries dude, glad you got it sorted
  5. Go into controls for the Plane(s) you're having trouble with, go to axis commands and look at the far right in the TrackIR column, down at the bottom will be "Zoom" and if it is mapped to TrackIR Z axis you'll need to clear the control and then look up the list for "Forward/Backwards" and map your trackir Z axis to that. See my attached screenshot.

  7. Are you using TrackIR? If so then sometimes it maps zoom to trakir Z axis which would prevent you using a key to control the zoom. If you're not using trackir then I dunno. Edit: Mouse wheel scroll can also zoom in and out in FC3, maybe that will work for you.
  8. I don't know, but lever or toe brakes, the more important thing is to be able to map the brake(s) to an axis.
  9. The real SU-27 does not have a trim axis so I doubt it will be put back in.
  10. Go into options menu and uncheck "Show pilot body when available". Edit: Like he said ^^ :smilewink:
  11. It said the same to me, there's an update for DCS world you'll have to do a force update. I did the update and then installed the stand alone module and still didn't get the new missions though :noexpression:
  12. Doesn't work for me, like I said, it's just asking for a user name and password when I try to download it  Edit: I tried changing the mirror to somewhere other than Germany and it worked.... weird :S
  13. I'm a FC3 owner and don't have the option to download the standalone. How are you doing it? On the main DCS site it asks for login/password over and over and in the module manager there's only the option to "buy".
  14. @Phantom Mark, Have you tried selecting the "Swap axis" option in FFB tune? Just a guess but that sometimes makes ffb weird if it's unchecked.
  15. You can disable "Show pilot body when available" in the options. Interestingly though, for me, with the option enabled it does not show the pilots body in the P51-D but does in the flanker
  16. He means are trying to download it from the menu of the beta version of DCS world, which can be dowloaded here: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/world/dcs_world_open_beta/ if you're trying to download it from the current stable release of DCS world, you can't
  17. There is one, if you go to the flaming cliffs 3 docs directory in the beta install.
  18. Elite: Dangerous has a release date now. Tuesday 16th December. http://us2.campaign-archive1.com/?u=dcbf6b86b4b0c7d1c21b73b1e&id=721f168fd0
  19. For a anyone having the trouble with trim not working at all, make sure force feedback is disabled in the options menu, unless of course you're using a ff stick.
