Airforce guys confuse what the ILS and IFOLS tell them More common than you think The ILS more or less is Fly to vs IFOLS tells you were you are For example both say above GS the ILS will tell you what you got to be doing to achieve GS IE You have to fly down to achieve GS The IFOLS will tell you you are high won't tell you how to fix it you're a pilot fix it yourself Both are good you have to know how they work Cheers
  7. IcedVenom is correct Very similar to Deka's FC-1 In real life the Chinese use the J-10 like the American F-16 If you know FC-1 you can fly J-10 I've seen in pictures one J-10C do thrust vectoring Most J-10's they have the AL-31F or WS-10 with no TVC

DeltaMike has it right Remember also F/A-18 is a Fly-By-Wire jet and you can fight the FBW which is bad Normally if you screw up significantly (for example really big throttle input) one parameter it takes a while to settle the plane down because everything airspeed, vvi, AOA, etc. is related Small but positive corrections you will be alright unless you are about to die

  20. Funny story I dropped a KC-10A at Luke Here I am with 59 F-16 pilots and I closed the Throttle at 50 feet.
