Just got the email that mine has shipped. Looking forward to getting it but still a little concerned how I am going to use this with my VR goggles. I hope it doesn't turn out to be an impulse buy :)

:thumbup: Yep, me too. Not the Ti, just the regular Founders Edition RTX-2080 straight from nVidia. It looks like it has a bit of a higher power requirement than my stock 1080, so I'm probably going to have to update my PSU as well. -=gos=-

I have the regular 1080 so if it's 50% faster with the same power requirements, I'm a day one guy. -=gos=-

I talked myself into it, ordered one! I now have to figure out how I will place it between my MFD Cougars on my monitor stand so it's solid. -=gos=-

I am so tempted to order one of these too. I use VR so I'm not sure how much I'd actually use it, but it does look well built. $157 shipped to the US, not exactly an easy decision.

I was going to try out the A10C Vegas Tour mission in 2.5 but Spawned in looking at the side of an A10 and it took off without me. I couldn't get into the cockpit changing views. I think something is a bit messed up with that particular mission. -=gos=-

Yes, you can have both. I still do but will be deleting the old stuff to free up valuable SSD space.

I believe so, you just have to change the target location in the shortcut to the new location.

I have the 2.5 Beta installed and working so I'm assuming that I can go ahead and delete the other DCS versions that are eating up space on my SSD and all will be right with the (DCS) world?

I'd like to see some updated basic training for the A-10, and other older planes as well.

Thanks for the advice Flagrum, I do appreciate it. The amount of information and depth of this sim is a bit overwhelming but that's why DCS seems like something I'd be interested in. My biggest obstacle right now is time! I'm concerned that by the time I've learned the ropes, everyone will have moved onto something else. In fact I think I'm quite late to the party now actually. I guess I'll need to do some more reading...quickly. -=gos=-

I am super new to the whole flight sim scene. Flying aircraft in BF4 is frankly, a joke! I decided to dive headfirst into DCS and bought a bunch of modules and a fancy new Saitek X-52 Pro. Being the responsible forum browser that I am, I used the search function extensively trying to locate a profile for my new purchases. After having little luck finding a current profile (after the .lua change) I tried using some google magic and again all I could find was pre 1.2.8 profiles. I could really use some help with locating the current X-52 Pro profiles for the FC3, A-10C and the P-51D modules! I know I should learn how to program the profiles myself but I don't even know where to begin. I don't know what should be where and why. If I start with a profile that someone who knows the what's and why's at least I can focus on learning to fly these beasts. Thanks in advance for you kind help and patience! :helpsmilie: -=gos=-

That makes me sorta sad. :( I was all set to buy 6 modules based on the sale price information in the email newsletter, now I learn that we were sent incorrect information. The price difference is fairly significant on some of the modules. :doh: Oh well, I guess I didn't need them anyway. -=gos=-
