try unbinding ctrl key from the shift keys group in options/input. However you're gonna need it anyway.. I think it would be smarter to rebind those hotkeys in winamp that involve the ctrl key

Great textures. I use some which I downloaded months ago from lockonfiles maybe they're the same authors'. It's shame that the model doesn't keep up the textures

I think this pool should be more specific since and air maneuver combat involves either dogfight or BVR and in many cases both of them. I've had hard times beating the F-14 in BVR combat. Those AIM-54 are serious thing. Instead, In dogfight the SU-27 is the cat's meow of the AI

It's better than nothing.. I tried to import the *.3ds file into 3dmax 9 and it wasnt possible, 3ds says that it doesn't recognize the format. I guess I wont be of much help for now.... however I'll be looking forward for any progress.

As soon as I read the title of this topic I thought that the systems minimal spec were finally posted and I said to myself "OMG, My PC wont even be able to run it at the lowest settings". However Force Feedback shows this Specs -that I guess they're official- and, imo, they're too good to be true. I dont really believe that a 2.0 GHZ and a a dx8.1 card -even the fastest DX8.1 vcard available- will be enough to give a BS good experience. c'mon dont make laugh.. that's not even sufficient for LO: FC!!! As matter of fact I noticed that the engine hasnt been given a significant upgrade... recommended a DX 8.1 card?? c'mon it's been about 4 years since the release of DX 9 and BS will still come out DX8.1 compliant!! I wanna see bump maps on those rivets and bolts of the panels. I wanna see HDR for those skies.. :'(

I'm gonna need more tha 20 GB of RAM to load properly all of those hi-res skins I have installed.

better said, the more recent meinit file you should use in order to avoid this bug is the walmis model's meinit.

Well..... I downloaded that file two post above and there was nothing I could do with both *.lom and *.z3d file. The file I would like to see uploaded is either a *.max or *.3ds. Can't that zmodeler export the lom file into a a 3ds max file?? c'mon we aint moving an inch

so this patch has nothing new excepting the Vista fix.. and I downloaded intermediately as soon as I read that there were new 3d models and many other fixes but I hadn't realized ED meant those were the same changes introduced in v.1.12a :doh:

I just tried Cam2pan and it worked nicely with my 10 bucks camera in GTR2 -a driving simulator-. I havent tested it in Lockon yet ... I'll give it a try tonight and let you know how it worked even with my crappy webcam. So far all I can say s that this stuff has done well and made me put off the purchase of a TIR. GG

I have a trial version of 3ds max 7 and 8 and I know plenty of this stuff. I just need this hot recent exported 3ds file in order to do my best to give this bird, as intact as possible, back to walmis. If the textures aren't recovered seems to me not a big deal. what matters here is that the mesh and the animations are intact. If at least a 90% of the work walmis did is recovered everything would be ok. wouldnt it?
