Just a suggestion, could you make the blue in the 27/33 a little bit darker? IMO, it's a little to light/gray as it is now. Again, incredible work

C'est magnifique, ca! Est-ce que vous allez faire les autres avions aussi?

1.00/1.02=Vanilla lockon. Do NOT install these 1.1/1.11/1.12a/1.12b=Flaming Cliffs. Any of these are OK to install The 1st decimal place determines whether it's FC or not. The 2nd decimal place determines the patch, in this case, 1.12b. Hope that helps, and don't worry about asking "newbie" questions, it's very confusing. Aero out

Register at this site: http://www.lockonfiles.com/ It should be your number 1 resource for any lockon download. Its got everything you could want. Look for a program called ModMan (Version 6.x.x) which is used to install nearly all mods. Search lockon files for mods that interest you. (Just make sure they're compatible with FC v1.12) What I recommend depends mostly on your preferences and what your system is like. There is the Sim-Mod Reload terrain which is really cool. A member over at lockon files named rugbutt also updated the other seasons to complement this mod. There are many MANY skins over there, or you could make your own. (You can find templates over there too) along with new aircraft models (The Walmis F-15 and the SimMod A-10) If you want to do your own modding, You can use ModMan to search through the CDDS files in your lockon directory and find the file you wish to edit and extract it. edit it and then drop in in your lockon\bazar\TempTextures folder. The TempTextures folder acts as a high folder. The sim will look for textures there before it looks for them in CDDS files. The sim also uses .lua files, which are very open to editing and you can do A LOT editing these files. The .lua language is very simple to understand and thus very easy to edit. Well, happy hunting/modding and welcome to the lockon community!

It seems some people in our squad cannot register with the Forums. They say when they click register, it says "Data base error." Will this be fixed? It doesn't work on the forum registration or the website registration. Using a different browser doesn't seem to work either. Any chance this will be fixed? Thanks, Aero and the 104th

Yes I know that. I wanted to make my own. (I have looked at the ones on lockonfiles and they look too... fake almost) And that doesn't answer my question.

I know Redflag's coming up later this month, so i though I'd make some skins for the occasion. However, This is my first ever skin, and I'm having difficulty. Here are some screnies with the trouble spots circled in red. Could you show me where these locations are on the Walmis F-15 template? Thanks
-
Yes, that's a crosswind, and like Boberro said, go to lockon\config\graphics.cfg and change aspect ratio=1.3333333333 to Aspect ratio=1.6. That way, the screen won't be distorted.

Yes, Esc, Quit, Fly. If the RCVR option is lit, click that, but most servers don't have it. If you're already dead, then it won't count as a death, however, If you quit and your not dead, yes, it will count as a loss. I doesn't really matter though, as the in-game lockon stats aren't that reliable or good anyway. Hope that helps

Very nice! How do you unlock Views on tracks?

I have the same problem, and mine doesn't go away, even after I restart lockon. The best Ive done is drag it to the top so that only the last 3 lines show, but it still doesn't go away. Does anyone know the fix for it? I'd hate to have to reinstall lockon again. Thanks Aero out EDIT: OH! Found this thread in the Bug section. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=14897&highlight=Chat+bug

RPGs: Zelda series (Hence my avatar) Shooters: SWBF2 Sims: Lockon FC (Duh), FSX, WoE, Flanker 2.5 (Don't play it much), SAR4, IL-2 (Just got it, haven't played it much) Ya... My gaming's rather limited to flight sims You need more Genres, as Zelda is really more an adventure game...

Patch 1.13 Requested Features/Fixes List (*Merged)
Aeroscout replied to Colt40Five's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
I know my list is repetative, but I can read all these pages, so I'll make it short and sweet. -Better Triplehead2go compatibility -Improve Missile behavior/ Chaff/ Flare improved -Blackout/redput more realistic (Realistic G tolerances) -F-15/A-10 refueling no longer scripted -Better SAM/ground unit behavior (No targeting through hills, etc.) -Ground units no longer able to proceed over destroyed bridge. And of course my dream wishlist! (Not a chance though) 6DOF 3D Clickable pits F/A-18C Hornet as Flyable aircraft realistic ECM Better modality MFD/shkval export for pits I know it's repetitive, but the big one was better TH2Go compatibility. -
Master switch (shift+m) only partially "works"
Aeroscout replied to Jenk's topic in Bugs and Problems
your game is really f-ed up... un-install lockon again, remove any remnants of it manually from the program files folder, defrag the HD and re-install. To start the Su-25T Press RightWin+Home to start engines and then press shift+L to turn on the electronics. After the engines are spooled, wait a little longer before taxing or the gyro will get screwy and show you incorect aircraft roll on the ADI and HUD. Shift+m is the master caution and does nothing in the start up proceedure. Hope this helps! -

I had an X52... and to tell the truth, I still have it and use it... well, half of it. I was at Oshkosh this summer and they had a deal on the CH Fighter stick for 90 bucks. They also have some sims set up there to try the sticks and petals and what not. I liked the feel, so I bit the bullet and got the FighterstickUSB. It was worth every penny, especially since I got it for $10 less than provantage. I now use the stick with my X52 throtle and I can't stress enough how much better it is. The X52 is a toy compared to this. It's got more buttons, it's much more precise and It seems to be of good quality (Granted, it is plastic, but it's really thick!) I can do aerial refueling now that I have this stick. the X52 was just too... sloppy. I'm going to be getting the CH Pro throttle soon too. I do have Saitek petals, and prefer these to CH because they can be made tighter and they are spaced farther apart. Sorry... I nearly wrote you a book, but this is what I suggest.... CH Fighterstick USB and Pro Throttle and the Saitek pedals... and of course, Track IR!

Stick, Throttle, Pedals
Aeroscout replied to ThunderChief's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I think you should add TrackIR to you list of things for Blackshark. :) -
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009094 Its contrast ratio could be better, but it's more than large enough for me, especially since I just upgraded from a 17". I run it at 1680x1050.
