hmm... I was hoping for interactive training like in MSFS.

Will the airport scenery and the ground textures be separate mods? (or can they be?) I'm mostly looking forward to this. The ground textures are great too. I especially like the winter texture with the snow. :thumbup: Just a few questions, sorry.

well, I know the Apache doesn't have tail roater blades positioned at 90 degrees to each other, which i believe is to reduce noise. Well... the mil family i would imagine would be noisy. They look ugly, and they sound ugly :D

I know the tail roater is the noisiest part of any helicopter. Because the Ka50 has no tail roater, it it a lot quieter than most choppers? sorry if this is a dumb question.

Yes, with the velocity vector. The Russian jets are more difficult, but more fun once you learn. I like their ILS system better too. As for flare, do what GG said. I like to have the break out the entire approach, but whatever. If you're on the glide path (as you should be) throttle to idle, wait half a sec, then pull back (slowly) until you hear the wheels screech. Keep the air-break out. keep the nose up as well, the entire plane will act like an air break. Once the nose cannot stay up anymore, apply the wheel breaks. stop. Tower will tell you to taxi to parking, yada yada yada... does that help?

Windows movie maker actually works very well for me. (just basic editing. i don't like all the crazy effects too much) The in-game recording is a pain. Don't use it. Use fraps instead.

saw a similar checklist in a Russian trainer at an airshow a month or so ago. there were 2 planes. The other was a bit more complicated: 1. buckle up. 2. don't touch anything. 3. keep your mouth shut.

What AI aircraft will there be in DCS? (stupid question, I know)

I noticed the F-16 is the least popular. But, why have an F-16 when you could have the F/A-18? F/A-18 all the way! (F-14 i would like, but not necessary, but DCS is all about realism. The F-14 is gone... so it's not realistic to have one) We definitely need fighters, not just the helos and and the A-10. It will be interesting to have flyable jets and helos on the same sim.

I think the F/A-18 should be the first jet they make. It can do both A2A and A2G. Also, you can do head to head online play!

err, I like my cat. Both of them actually, Although one does bother me, especially when I'm playing lock on! I don't think SF is a great option, though it has done nothing to me, but maybe there's a better protection software? I don't think this is a high priority for 1.13 though. There are many other things (In-game) that need to be fixed.

Why no F/A-18? I know of one... no, just 2 sims with the F/A-18. You seem to have no objections to the Su-27, well, if you count Flanker, Flanker 1.5, Flanker 2.0, Flanker 2.5, and Lock On... that's... 1, 2, 3, 4... 5 Flanker sims. I don't think the flanker's been beaten to death, and definitely not the Hornet. The horent is a great combination of all the worlds of air combat. A2G, A2A, naval combat! It also has 1 and 2 person variants. I don't really look forward to an F-16, but others might/do. An F-15E would be cool too. All I want are some fast movers. (A2A combat!)
