Just a suggestion... I think you should put a note on the action point vid in the download section that says that none of those planes are actually flyable.

Similar to my rig. (few differences...) I'm going to be getting a new processor (AMD AM2 6000) Frankly, the 4200+ with it's shared 1MB L2 cache sucks. the 6000 has 2MB (shared) Whatever you do, DO NOT upgrade to vista.

1: yes, track IR is a must. If your going to spend money on a new PC, then $150 won't hurt you too much. I got it a year ago, i loved it within a week and can't imagine lockon (or any sim) without it.

where are the escorts or the SAMs? I was curious as to how you would engage the group with lots of defenses. Great pics. lock on is beautiful (is that the new thing now?) Cooperative missions online are always fun to see.

This just looks amazing... I wasn't too thrilled at first when the ground-pounder terrain first came out, but after this, OMG i want it as soon as i get my comp straightened out.

Oh, one dumb question... how does one go about wiping the HD to re-install the new OS? Should I plug the HD into another computer and wipe it manually there?

I already have vista... My opinion exactly! ;) Thanks for the input guys... and is there a major difference between XP home and pro? I've checked online on the Microsoft site and such and the ones shown there don't affect me much... not worth $50 more.

No different, just vista compatibility. If you have XP, don't worry about it.

I think it was just a misunderstanding...

The reason I ask is because I'm considering a downgrade to XP. Lock on runs terribly on vista, BS is said to have no advantage on vista over XP and I cannot take any advantage of DX10 because of my card. I'm wondering what you guys think. Right now, it seems it's XP all the way, and I'm willing to pay $90, even if it is just the Home version. Sorry Moderators... I know this is a bit OT... Sorry for the double post... My router crapped out in the middle and the poll was not posted. :(

seriously, get the better comp hardware then an X52. It has the mini switch. It's what i used before Track IR, and it worked rather well. It's twist function is good too, better than a rocker switch. (more natural)

You cannot even select the R-77 if the radar is off.
