From the way i understood it the Apache module should be accessible in early acces somewhere around June? Also when can we pre-order early acces ? I thought pre orders would start end of February/beginning of March?

Just wanted to say I’m thrilled they will finally do a AH-64 Sim again. After the Janes AH-64, Gunship and Apache Longbow titles there wasn’t anyone making an Apache sim again. There was a sim called Combat helo which features the Apache, but this project got cancelled for the second time. So I’m Really happy to find out DCS finally went to develop the Apache for an Allready excellent platform.

I just installed the latest version of Falcon over persian Gulf. But everytime i end a mission the mission debrief script wont load and i get an error message. Not only does it prevent me from progressing in the campaign, every time i get the error message DCS locks up as well.

What up everyone? Yesterday i recieved my brand new high end rig plus oculus rift S VR headset. They sure don’t come cheap but it was worth every penny i spend on the sucker. Anyway there is one thing i can’t seem to get my head over. Even if you have a HOTAS sometimes you still need to to some key stroking. But i feel that’s enormously unpractical due to the fact you need to take of the VR set every time you need something on the Keyboard. Not to mention it totally breaks immersion. So how do the VR veterans deal with this problem? Am I missing something?

To get back on the subject the events inspired me to start a UAP study group named the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Global Research & Investigation group (UAPGRIG for short) in an effort to gain more understanding in UAP. What’s up folks! I downloaded the latest Hornet over Persian gulf supercarrier campaign. But everytime I start up the first mission it loads and then CTDs on me. Did the latest DCS update break it? Any solutions ?

I think there is a bug in the Falcon over Hornet DCE campaign. I started a campaign and all the tasks im given the same Al Dhabi airbase CAP. Started a new campaign, same problem..

Did you even bother to look at the YouTube video? They clearly said that there was a situation where the F-18 pilot decided to investigate a little closer which resulted in some high G maneuvers with the craft, " And it just mirrored the movements of the fighter and turning with the fighters axis"

Interesting is that these objects had the ability to jam the Hornets radar. And then suddenly leap to the CAP point hundreds of miles away in the blink of an eye. Allmost as if they were aware of the flights flightplan.

I remember seeing an interview by someone from the pentagon in investigating these strange phenomenon and said if they somehow obtained the technology whitnessed by the Nimitz group they would definitely reverse engineer it ASAP. They said it had flight characteristics & insane acceleration ability,s that never has been witnessed before and it it’s probably made with some very exotic allows or materials to allow it to defy the laws of physics like that. Certainly not anything that is know to mankind at the moment. It’s estimated it would leap science by several 100 years if not more

Did you even bother to watch the Nimitz encounter video? The video you posted would only explain the flir footage (which there is a much longer and clearer classified version of) Also the whole carrier group spotted the multiple objects visually, on radar and on various other sensors). The objects could move from 45.000 to 100 feet and thousands of miles in split second seemingly competely defiant of the laws of nature and not even producing sonic booms .This was captured on radar returns as well promting the radar specialist to completly recalibrate the ships radar system thinking it was a glitch, only to find the same radar contacts even more clearer that before. Not to mention that naval aviators are expert observers and recieve training with millions of dollars to identity the objects in the air. Also the incidents sometimes lasted weeks on end and on multiple occasions throughout the years. Even promting pilots to repot safety hazards Because the objects came so close and fearing mid air collisions ...

What bother me the most about UFO,s is that people automatically assume that’s ufo,s are alien space craft. I’m open minded to the idea that they could be highly advanced drones perhaps by lifeforms we don’t know about yet, even from another planet, but it’s probably the last thing that would come to mind. It could be a phenomenon we don’t know yet, or a highly secretive drone project, though in the Nimitz encounters it’s highly doubtfull they would endanger pilots in such a way. But i filly understand why they went with the UAP designation for UFO,s after all the pentagon said they were indeed very real, but stressed that it was highly unlikely it’s of alien Orign...

Forget about all that. These are first hand accounts of UFO sightings (UAP,s as the Navy now officially calls them) of a whole carrier battle group that witnessed UFO,s for 2 weeks in a row on multiple sensors and even dogfighted them. It’s the encounters of the footage that was released by the pentagon not so long ago which came with a press release that stated these phenomenon are not only very real, but actually very common.. they have become known as “The Nimitz Encounters”

I’m very curious what my fellow virtual Hornet pilots thinks about these extraordinary events. Personally i allways try to look for a more logical explanation, but these events truly blew my mind. Especially since the pentagon released footage and a press statement saying there phenomenon are indeed very real.
