Thanks for the heads up. I replicated all your steps, but when i ran the Firstmission.bat it gave me an error saying it couldnt find correct path. Campaign runs fine though, just not with a populated deck with the SC addon. Hope they release a SC campaign soon.

I think the popping sound is actually coming from the jeeps and trucks around airfields. A while back I was bored and explored the Normandy map in free flight. And the source it the sound came from the jeeps and trucks around the bases

I never got an awnser to the question if the f-18 persian gulf DCE will be updated to feature the supercarrier module. Also, any chance of ever seeing a DCE campaign for the mustang over Normandy map? The module badly needs it since there are only 5 single missions & 2 rather short payed campaigns

Why if you don’t mind me asking? I never said it was anywhere near DCS levels. It does a nice job by combining sim with some game elements at a much lower price then the high fidelity DCS offers. IL2 offers a more action oriented kind of gameplay in a semi dynamic campaign envirement. Where DCS is much more hardcore and a studysim which is more for the purist

I meant it just like I said, smoke comming from the engines when starting the engines. Gotto agree on DCS offering the best P-51 sim. I actually for IL2 operation bodemplatte which also does a nice job of simulating the p-51. I allways considered the P-51 for DCS to expensive because it would only make sense it you buy the assets and normandy map allong with it. But when it got a massive “corona” discount I just couldn’t resist. Now I’m allmost only flying the DCS p-51 Because it just go,s that little step further then Il2. But I play IL2 still to from time to time, Mainly because is its career mode which DCS lacks in many ways.

I noticed that the P-51 pilot doesnt have an oxygen mask at high altitude? It looks kind of lame actually

Hi there! Hey i just bought your campaign and i really liked it so far. But there is a problem in mission 3 when i approach the bomber formation, the game slowlty turns into a complete slide show because of the massive bomber formation. Normally my machine runs DCS smooth like a raserblade. But the massive formation is just to much for my PC. Problem being is that i cant progress in the campaign beyond this mission because it nearly turns into a complete stop, its like im watching WWII arial bombing pictures online or something. So anything i can do to work around this?

Hi there i got a question about what the criterea are for wining a campaign. Because i downloaded the latest campaign and it worked like a charm. Very immersive and its trully what brings DCS what is so desperatly needed. But after about 50 succesfull missions with red side having 16 of there installations brought down to 0 % o over only 3 or 4 installations (All the EWR sites) my campaign suddenly ended in a shamefull defeat..

For the love of god I can never find the f-14 on the radar in the persian gulf map. Also when I locate other hostile aircraft and I select to lock them on the radar the beam go,s narrow but never locks up the enemy aircraft. I normally allways end up having to close in and lock them with one of the auto lock modes. What gives ?

JDAM,s miss targets by meters even with correct coordinates? I was wondering if the JDAMS are currently bugged or something. Normally I would hit targets with JDAMS right on the pickleberry. But recently i had repeated misses when bombing through the clouds at 28000 feet. I punch in the correct coordinates and ellavation in feet which i collect in the mission briefing with the correct coordinates change with alt-y or whatever it was. I double check both ellavation and if the coordinates are correct ( zoom in and put the mouse over the middle of the targets to get the coordinates) But yet what looks like a bomb homing in on the target end ups missing by meters not even damaging the targets at all. All 4 bombs missed even though I was absolutly sure the data was 100% correct. Also i noticed there is no step function anymore to enable you to program multiple targets for multiple JDAMs requiring me to make 2 or 4 different passed for each Single JDAM. So are JDAMS bugged atm? I could just go for Mavericks or something else instead. But I need to know if the problem is on My end or not..

Nevermind I just downloaded latest version and restarted campaign. But this leads me to another issue. For some reason I cannot use target labels when I press shift f-10. Is this a bug or just disabled in the latest Version?

When the mission starts DCS freezes and is have to restart the whole PC. No error message

Did some new update break the dce campaigns again? Because ocassionally my game would lock up right when I started a mission. But I would just skip the mission. But now all my missions lock up and I have to do a hard restart. I realize The DCE campaigns are work in progress and I totally love them as they really bring a dynamic eliment to DCS quite well and litterally quite suprizing at times, but it would be a shame to totally restart the campaign again since ive allmost brought iran to its knees with only 5 targets to bring done to 0% capacity

For the love of god it still don’t show in game. Tried all the livery maps i could find. I’m my saved games folder, in my root directory. I just cant figure it out because when I want to change skins I still just get a blank bar with nothing in it. I have the steam version btw

Im seeing all these wonderfull skins comming out made by the community, but how do I change skins? Whenever I want to change a skin all I see is a blank bar in the editor or mission planner. Is if bugged or something? If so how do people change the skin?

I allready tries that. But when I bind to the axis it just binds to me normal mouse. It seems DCS doesn’t even reconize the minimize other then moving around the curser

can anyone please tell me how i configure the x-52 minimouse to slew the TDC in DCS? i cant seem to figure it out..

Anyone have found a solution for this by any chance? I downloaded a profile for the x52 that came with a profile for the Logitech software as well to make the minimouse work in DCS but it doesn’t do much of anything at all.
