    Im having a problem witn my f-18 persian gulf campaign. Maybe the latest DCS world broke it idk. But when i fly a mission the missie debiefing and promt asking you to accept the mission results dont show up after a mission anymore. The campaign itself is stuck on the same misson over and over again. Is there any way to fix this without reinstalling the campaign? Whats the Point in a dynamic campaign if i need to restart it after every update?

    For Some reason in the Hornet over PG i only get cap & escort missions. In the beginning i still got strike & cas missions. But i dont seem to get then anymore. I never restarted the campaign, but maybe the f-18 update broke something?

    Indeed. AAR is much more dependent on a steady hand then carrier landings

    For Some reason i find air to air refueling much harder then carrier landings.

    I usually generate a mission with the DCE. Then open the ongoing mission with the editor and set the weather to dynamic and then start the mission. Thats the Nice thing about how the DCE is Set up. Because the missions are pre generated it allows you to tailor the mission to your own wishes untill the next mission is generated. It makes it very dynamic, and setting the weather Is just a matter click and save in the generator...

    Question. Does the Hornet over PG campaign use the dynamic weather? I know the climate in the gulf is very hot. But i noticed i never ever get any clouds or anything. Its like the weather is allways the same. Surely even the Gulf seems Some clouds from time to time?

    V5 disabled the anti ship mission. Make sure you delete all files from the previous version and then install V5. Last time in installed v5 over v5 i also still had ant-ship mission and the Agm65g loadouts. Which basicly means its still version 4. I deleted all maps and reinstalled v5 and then it worked

    I was wondering the other day. How come we havent seen any plans for a Apache module Some day? I know in the past there where Some projects to create a module for the Apache but they all got cancelled. There even was a project outside of DCS called combathelo that was doing a Great job that was asked to create a ah-64 module for DCS that declined (and later the project for abandoned on its own unfortunatly) So how come we havent seen anything for DCS for the Apache?

    That worries me since my wingman gets lost Many Many times due to the horrible AI for the wingman.

    Im still absolutly loving these campaigns. They are quite addictive ad your bombared with tons of realistic missions where other AI flights also play a part in the DCE campaign while Being very realistic. It the closest one can Get to the Falcon allied Forces dynamic campaign. Just out of curiousity, what are the criteria for losing a campaign instead of winning it. Can the campaign be lost if you perform poorly?

    But why not just use the centre pylon for the FLIR Pod and just have a double bubble? I know the centre pylon can be used for the ATFLIR. Ive seen USMC Hornet have one in the centre. I must confess though, i do like the double ugly configuration myself. Cant wait to give it a try in DCS when we get the ATFLIR

    Yeah i suspected the FLIR pod was quilty on this myself. But i reckoned the pod itself wouldnt be heavy enough to justify an unorthodox configutation like this one. Never thought it would be becuase external tank would Block the ATFLIR,s pod view. Makes Total sense now. Thanks for the quick awnser.

    I seen Some pictures and footage of f-18,s that are configured with one tank on the wing pylon and one in the centre. Why? Weightwise this doesnt make sense at all l, esspecially since most of the Time all the other pylons are empty exept for sidewinders Sometimes. here, see for yourselfs (excellent footage btw)

    Lol, i dated woman from all over the world. But you dont see me putting girly pics all over my profile do you? Thats just freakin weird ???????? But i today i did have Some succes against AIM-54 by putting the missle on my 3 or 9 o clock while hitting the deck in full afterburner. I got close enough to get a lock and got shots at the Tomcat. Unfortunatly it was my wingman that got a kill & the other Tomcat ran back to iran. That shit was really intense...

    Wow you for real? Good looking lady knows her Fighterplane stuff. How cool is that? It seems the Tomcat is your thing. You up for some online head to head (Tomcat vs Hornet) when the Tomcat go,s live? By then the AIM-54 wont be a problem for me anymore :)

    I tried everything in the book and if im really lucky i can Dodge 1 or 2 AIM-54,s at most. But after that i allways bite the dust. Even when i jump in my wingmans Seat? Same story. I dont have any awnser to country an Iranian f-14,s armed with AIM-54,s. I just never ever close enough to get a kill. And the only thing i can bring to the fight are AIM 120C,s with the F-18. Anybody got any advice as to how i can be effective in dealing with this puppy?

    Why not just change your loadout in the mission planner pre-flight? I do this allmost every single mission to fine tune it depending on the mission and defences ill might run into
