    Monstertech

Hi guys, I got a set of Monster-tech best mounts for a Thrustmaster Warthog. I'm looking at getting the chair mounts as it going to work better with my set up, but I cannot use the Desk mount so if any on UK (EU depending on postage etc) are interested PM me. If this isn't allowed admins just delete, not sure where else to post them ;)
  3. Hall sensor arrived today, fitted and all working fine, still need to add a curve to the axis tho otherwise the AF is in the wrong position (i know you can physically adjust it inside, but I cannot be assed to open it up again). So if you could please share you're custom curves that be great thanks!
  4. Yes you just need to define the modifier button first, altho this will stop it being used for any other function. Unless you use the TARGET software with a Timed press. I remember having something similar for my TrackIR center. So if I tapped the paddle switch it would center TrackIR, if I pressed and hold it it would act as the normal paddle switch in game (Auto pilot override etc.). If I remember rightly I also had the same set up for the pinkie switch so that it would act as Shift if held down for more then 0.8sec. I don't use TARGET anymore as with DCS I don't find I generally need to. This was more for BMS set up back in the day. Sorry I don't have the coding to hand but what you are asking for can be done. Personally, I would use the CMS (thumb switch on the stick) depress as a modifier as its not used in the real jet, but was added in on the A-10. Then you can bind that + any axis to make it move your rudder.
  5. Sorry but no, F16 or F18 that is all :)
  6. Now I know there isn't any golden written rule for this, however I am really struggling to get my head around the "Window" for deploying Fox 3's. Maybe I'm just stupid but if I Fox3 on a bandit Hot to me at 8nm with a closure rate of 1000+ I generally expect to hit, however recently this isn't the case. I've even heard other pilots comment "10nm isn't what it use to be". Now I'm not sure if this is to do with the introduction of the "buffs" to the AIM120c's. But does anyone have the perpetrators to launch a Fox3 for the F18, I know the system will give you a cue etc and the jet does most of the work for you, but it isn't working. As far as I can see I'm in the preferred position to Fox and yet the bandit will evade the missile pretty much 90% of the time. Now I understand there are some outstanding pilots out there but several times I have watched as my missile goes pitbull then just drops lock. I generally tend to fox approx 15-13nm to try and force the band it to go defensive. Then continue to press and fox again within 7-10nm. I studied a fair bit of ACM and BFM with BMS in the F16, but BVR is a different beast all together. I've never been the best at it so holding my hand up to you guys for some help.
  7. That is the question (I just edited the post lol, typing in a rush). The fittings seem very similar to the Cougar, But without taking it apart hard to tell.
  8. Probably been asked, but does this fit a Thrustmaster Cougar Throttle?
  9. Yes I believe this is behaving correctly. As you are changing Master modes it resets the sensor etc. You as if you are in a Dog fight you shouldn't need to switch master mode at all once merged with the bandit.
  10. This is completely correct, the Viper will launch a 120c faster the then the hornet, however once thing I get frustrated with is altitude, now I've seen it come into play with the shoot queuing systems, but doesn't seem to carry over to the missile. Coming from BMS I normally will always pitch up before shooting to semi loft. This might be incorrect but it tends to give just that little extra range on the Fox3. This is something I don't see in DCS. As i said this could be wrong but I believe BMS missile are very closely replicated to the real thing, more so then in DCS currently?
  11. Well I stated threat and the Ground is still a threat to any aircraft :) Also the over G-ing of aircraft is massive, but as I said you got to be pulling silly G's. To the point the pilot is out cold. However I did learn something looking into this topic, that the maximum G's for the F/a-18 Hornet is 7.5g which surprised me. Suppose there for to be a draw back from all that alpha of the Hornets design. We all do still need to remember this is a Simulator so it going to be as close to the real world as possible inside of coded "game". Thanks for the quote made for an interesting read!
  12. I got to open up my Throttle this evening and look at the board for the supply you said in the email. I believe is a later model so should be fine, but I'll double / Triple check.
  13. Think I sent oyu an email the other night :) If not let me know haha! I've got some 767a grease inbound so I'm going to do a bit of a refreasher to the whole unit. Does your Hall sensor kit just drop in and plug 'n' play with the current stock pCB?
  14. Are these worth the money, I mean I own a set of MFG Crosswinds, but never really been a fan of my foot being off the floor. So i'm tempted with the TPR setup. I don't really fly Helios that much so not sure if its worth the expense.
