  1. Not familiar with BMS, and can’t figure out if you are serious or sarcastic.
  2. Very nicely done.
  3. Most tutorials go too quickly to allow writing down the sequence of events. I, therefore, recommend tutorials include a downloadable checklist of those events. The buttons, switches, etc. used. This shouldn't be too hard, since the tutorial creator had to have done that before making the video, to make sure the video was accurate.

  5. Just to clarify, that 2000x2000 is in your controls setting?
  6. Will do.
  7. I submitted a ticket to DCS Support. They told me "Unfortunately, after some patches, custom bindings are lost. The latest update seems to be one of those. We are sorry for this incident. Please bind the keys again." I tried clearing my assignments and re entering them. That did not work. I asked if that meant the F keys could no longer be used, but haven't heard back, yet. Has anyone else had this problem, or was it just my last update?
  8. Flappie, that didn't seem to do anything. Third times a charm, they say and I hope.
  9. I looked, and there is nothing in the UI, and I don't have the NS430. But. thanks for the quick reply. I wish you had been right.
  10. I had my F2 key bound to the outside view, until yesterday. Now, hitting F2 turns off the microphone through a VoiceAttack assignment that I can't find. If I push it again, the sound comes back on. I didn't change anything. I discovered this when I found F2 thru F9 were not working. As before, F1 puts me in the cockpit, and F10 shows me the map. These two work fine. I thought it was the keyboard, it was old, so I bought a new one. Its not the keyboard. I have checked the control bindings in DCS and VoiceAttack. Neither show any changes which would turn off the mike, or those function keys. If I press any of the function keys on the keyboard, they are highlighted in both VA and DCS controls, as they should be. Has anyone else had this problem?
  11. Terry, OK. I got through step 3, but in trying to OPEN in step 4, I get a message saying the file is an unknown type or is damaged.
  12. The .vap file gets saved as a text file that is in code. Is that right? Looks like some of your assignments conflict with some I already have. Could you print out the names of the commands and the assignment for each? Then, maybe I can add them with assignments that don't conflict with mine. Told you I was new to this. Thanks,
  13. In reading these answers, I assume the stuttering mention is in game play. What about stuttering and double images during loading a mission?
  14. I once got to sit in the cockpit of a B-52 simulator, and it was about the size of the front seat area of a standard four door car. A cockpit that small for an airplane that big was pretty amazing.
  15. Right now, left eye is in the center, my nose is off to the right.
  16. Why on earth did they even mention IPD if it’s not relevant? I thought it was important enough I went to my eye doctor to find out what mine was, and then set up things to that number.
  17. I'm new to VoiceAttack. How do I add this to the command list? What key settings and voice commands would you use? Thanks, SLAG
  18. I tried this, and all that happened was everything got blurry. I didn't save, so how do I get rid of these settings? Before, the screen was nice and sharp.
  19. Which "options" are you talking about?
  20. I found it in my F drive, rather than the C drive. It worked fine.
  21. I don’t seem to have a “View” option in config. What should I do? I do have an “options.lua.VR, though I don’t see anything there. But, maybe I missed it. I’ll keep looking.
  22. Also: "It's not the machine, it"s the man" Chuck Yeager
  23. I was born in 1943. Growing up, we moved and I started at a new school named Yeager. When introduced to my new teacher, I asked her if the school was named after Chuck Yeager. She said “who’s that”. I said “the first man to fly faster than the speed of sound”, as if didn’t everyone know that. The full name of the school was Yeager Elementary School. I was seven years old, and in the second grade. But, I knew who Chuck Yeager was. I credit him for my life long love of flying. He died December 7th, 2020, 97 years old.
  24. So, the answer is "No". Bummer. thanks,
  25. Can pages be reordered, to put the ones I want up front? For instance, a check list in front of the maps. thanks,
