Is it possible for there to be a conflict between the Warthog joystick and the DCS software? I’m beginning to think so because, when I chop the throttle just before I land on a carrier, the plane doesn’t drop, it floats right on past the wires. If I am right, how can that conflict be found and eliminated? Thanks,

I am starting to get a popup, something about a script error. Sound familiar? It goes away when I hit Escape, and I can resume flying, but it returns 1-2min later.

Once I am in the mission, I don't see a "mission editor. Only a "mission planner". How do I get to the editor? Never played with mission settings before. Thanks,

I wish! I was an enlisted man working on the camera control system in RF-8G Crusaders. I’m waiting for the F-8 to become available in DCS, so I can do a little about that wish.

When I was on a Med cruise on the Shangri-La, a Bear met us as we entered and left at Gilbraltar. We always put up three F-8 Crusaders that met him several miles from the ship. One on each wing, and one on his six. The planes on his wings kept him from getting closer to the ship. The plane on his six was supposedly locked and loaded...for bear. The sound of those counter rotating props was like nothing you had ever heard from an airplane.

I know. But, I can't find it. give me a hint as to where it is. I don't see any empty jack. Is it under the seat someplace? I've looked everywhere but there.

Name the Plug Andre/f410, I had to unplug several things, recently. All but this one have been re-plugged in. I suspect it is for the seat, because the seat shows up as not connected. But, I can't see a place in which to plug it. Where does this go?

I, too, just bought the super CV bundle because I would like to do carrier ops. I’m not too sure about my ability to absorb something like the Hornet, though. I have been trying the F-5E a little as a bridge to the Hornet. Mostly, I have been flying in CloD and WWII DCS a/c for several years. I’m 76, and spent about 9 months on the Shangri-La’s 66-67 Med cruise with VFP-62 as a PH3. I also have SMEL licenses, and have owned/flown two gliders in the recent past. I’d like to give the Hornet a try, if I don’t impact everyone else’s learning curve. I haven’t even started up the Hornet, yet.

I think I was friendly in my first post. I read all of the instructions, and got to a point at which I could go no further. In the second one, I was nonplussed that I hadn't received an answer. In the third, he got what he deserved. It matters not a wit if he, or anyone else, thought the instructions were clear. I'm not very computer literate, and simply asked for some help.

VFA-113 PLAT I have clicked on the PLAT mod on the VFA-113 web site. I get a folder called 113PLATv2.0, and click on it. I get a folder called VFA-113 LSOmission I click on that and get VFA113LSOv14.miz Now, the question is, how do I get that into a miz folder? I can't left click and move it. I can't copy it, with a right click. So, what do I do?

Is there really no answer to this simple question?

I just bought the super carrier bundle. Never flown the Hornet before. Also, don't know a lot about computers, don't have the Rift. And don't use OVGME. So, where do I put the View and other folders? In simple language, how do I get the PLAT mod loaded? Thanks,

I would also love to have an NF version. But that would require having British bombers over Europe at night, and German night fighters. Guess we have to be satisfied with 1946.

Where do I find the CVN-77 mod, and does it work in the latest Beta version?

I don’t remember what it is called. Some very tiny veins became clogged, resulting in some dead optic nerves. I have a very blurred spot on the center of my field of vision. Periferal vision is OK, but doesn’t help a lot. I was hoping that what I can see with my right eye would be enough to satisfy VR. But it isn’t.
