  1. IIRC, there were 10 activations and it could be reset once per month. So unlimited.

  3. It is quite simple: if you are travelling faster than sound, it will never reach you. Try F3 fly by mode and after you plane has passed by your side, you will hear the sonic boom and then its noise. In the following picture you can see how the sonic waves travel in regards to an aircraft at subsonic, sonic and supersonic speeds:

The Sparrow is currently an ancient missile completely surpassed in every aspect by the AMRAAM and other missiles, but it still is in the arsenal of many countries and that alone is enough to have it in game. The Sparrow's initial versions were very problematic and it wasn't trustworthy in Vietnam war, but the latest variants were quite effective and it did a pretty good job in the 1991 Gulf War, while the AMRAAM was still in development.   5. Yes, at that point you need to be sure to follow the road, which climbs the mountain to the right instead of following the river valley. I also missed it at that spot the first time...

Already discussed here too: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=115931 I modified the mission to avoid the auto-push as described in that thread and made sure that the F-15E's flight path passes over the mission success circle in the airfield adjusting waypoints and enlarging the circle. It worked fine.
  7. I am still running 1.2.10 and it is bugged there too. Use your HSI instead and do not trust the HUD when the bug (pointer) is stuck to either side of the scale.
  8. If you get the A-10C I don't think that you will be playing the A-10A, which will feel unrealistic. Anyway, if you want quick playing, the A-10C can hot start on the runway or even in flight (e.g. the instant action missions).
  9. Oh, well, nice to know. I had just started trying to use PAC-1 on rocket runs this weekend to improve accuracy, with little succes TBH. :( They are fine for me with digits only. The problem is that sometimes in a crammed HUD like the A-10C's it is difficult to find what you are looking for. Maybe a square around speed and altitude would make them easier to notice.
  10. Hmhm... but that would also disable PAC, will not be able to use PAC-1 with rockets, for example.
  11. I have a couple of doubts on the F-15, as the manual seems to be pretty outdated. In the picture below, what are the numbers marked in red? Could the "11" be the G indicator for 1.1G? And 90 the G limit for 9.0? But it does not change with load, stays 90 even with 3 fuel tanks... In blue I have marked the ILS data. How do I know which field is selected? Thank's a lot!

  13. Oh true, Attitude hold works, I was looking at the velocity vector instead of the nose indicator, and as I could also change the pitch manually, assumed that it didn't work. Behaviour is different from the Su-25T... So the Altitude hold only works once Attitude is on? The FC3 manual has nothing about the F-15C autopilot and the web documentation about it is pretty slim. I will try to get the F-15 module manual and look there. Thank's a lot!
  14. I can't get the F-15 autopilot to work in any of its two modes. The Attitude Hold switch moves in the panel, but it does not seem to work. The Altitude Hold switch does not even move in the panel, and won't keep altitude. I have checked and all three CAS switches are ON. Bug or I am doing something wrong? Thank you
  15. Then try mapping the Fire action to another key combo on both game and joystick. The problem only happens in training missions, probably because of that "Press space to continue".

  17. In a few of the Su-25T training missions, Space won't launch the weapons. Instead of mapping the fire button in your controller to Space, map in the game the joystick button to the Fire action. That solved the problem for me.
