  1. #1 - Don't start rumors. #2 - The next DCS isn't an F/A-18 so you're only encouraging a lost cause. ;)
  2. If Eagle Dynamics supported FreeTrackNoIR, it would be a totally different story, but since they don't it is a hard process to the inexperienced to get the application+webcam+FC2 all working correctly. I've tried hacking at it nearly 5 times and give up every time cause it just does not want to function properly even though I am sure I am probably setting it up wrong.
  3. Get out more? Yeah, I'll get right on that.
  4. ^^ Looks more like trash.
  5. +1. Stop wasting money with overclocking. Leave that to the product manufacturers and special retailers.
  6. Bro, you need to install some mods.
  7. Awesome deal! There's probably more metal on that card than inside an actual computer!:shocking:
  8. Most likely to appeal to all the old Jane's fans I am guessing...:disgust: The reason why I asked what I did is because of this:
  9. What was the point in obtaining licensing from Jane's Information Group if all you plan to do is just make some garbage unrealistic arcade game that very closely resembles two other game series (Ace Combat and HAWX). I'd rather waste my money on Call of Duty.
  10. 5670's can handle FC2 well. Go into the custom settings and change them to Override application. Chance AA to at least 4X or 8X, AA mode to Multisampling, Antisotropic filtering to at least 4X or 8X, V-sync off, and Mipmap details to High Quality.
  11. I rarely see apparant cracks like that in-game but when I do it is somewhat annoying. It mainly is a hardware configuration problem, mainly your video card settings, so I advise turning up the quality. Are you running ATI/AMD or NVIDIA? And what are your Anti-Aliasing, Antisotropic filtering, AA mode, Mipmap detail level, and/or Tesselation settings?
  12. Nice! I love "The Goat" Also got some friends with GTO's.
  13. :D Ohh, I need to get back into some FC2 multiplayer again. It's been a while. Sounds more hardcore than it probably is.:smartass:
  14. Oh really? Explain, Mister Non-Eagle Dynamics employee/ED Beta tester...
  15. Pretty hostile response. I would rather put my money into Eagle Dynamics pockets when I see a brand new game and not some HDR sparkled up version of a simulator near a decade old. And no, I'm not clueless.
  16. Honestly, if ED wants to kill FC2, than how about just kill the entire chain (FC2, Ka50, A-10C, F-15E) by making a brand new simulator. Not sure about others but I for one would like to spend my money on a brand new simulator rather than another re-manufactured version of an 8 year old game.:music_whistling:
  17. The epitome of awesome.
  18. Those pictures make the J-20 look like a concept of a jet straight out of a comic book or cartoon series. What are they expecting it to be able to do, tumble around in the sky and do a triple back-flip or twist?:megalol:
  19. LMFAO!!! Saving this. Rep inbound.:megalol:
  20. The winner of the lowest flyby competition goes to this guy.
  21. LMAO, that is the most senseless bullcrap I have probably read against this game.:megalol: "Better graphics.... check" - Duh, nothing to-date can and will compare to Frostbite 2 rendering, the use of DirectX11, and the fact that the maps are going to be amazingly beautiful, destructible, and huge. Destructible environment... check - Always an awesome plus in any book COD kids... check - Sadly, yes BF kids... check - Much less than compared to the kid community in COD Unorganization..check - Umm what unorganization? What exactly IS organization in a game to you? Same as BF2.... check - I would uncheck. BF2 was released 6 years ago. Both technology and skills in producing FPS games has definitely evolved in that time, especially thankful to destructible environments. The difference between BF2 and BF3 is ginormous and I can't believe somebody would actually compare the two. The only things returning from the original BF2 are the main things such as the vehicles (like in BFBC2) and Prone (which I do hate though). For a better description of why BF2 and BF3 are nearly the exact same, I would appreciate it if you could define that for me... Same as BF2145.... Check - I would uncheck this too. BF2145 was released 5 years ago, it's set far ahead in the future with robots, it doesn't feature destruction, no special rendering or physics engine, I can go on. Vaporware ... Check - That's why BF3 will be released October 25, 2011, right? GTFO you ArmA fanboy. You have obviously never played much of the Battlefield series so who are you to judge BF3 compared to its predecessors and competitors? I have nothing against ArmA because I intend to purchase both Battlefield 3 and ArmA 3 when they are released so don't think that I am making this a one-sided argument. Kthxbai Brainless respawn crap? Every FPS game (including ArmA) have a re-spawn feature. Whether it is reverting back to a certain saved checkpoint in a single-player mission, or if it is spawning on a squad-mate in combat on multi-player, there is no difference between Battlefield or ArmA when it comes to spawning back into combat. Battlefield series has been aimed against this "nice pixels with more of the same" rather than with COD and adding a new layer of paint to every sequel. Battlefield 3 is a game being produced to hopefully revolutionize the way FPS games are played, and that will mainly be thankful to the ability to destroy buildings, remove walls that an enemy could be sitting behind, and man vehicles.
