  2. This is exactually same as the real world Suit 2 A-10C. You are supposed to use the depressable pipper as your reference of TGP broadcasting point, set the depressable pipper to 41 mile position. And use the white dot(forgot the name of this) on your TGP screen to know where is your TGP pointing at...

  4. Well, don't forget there is no any nose wheel steering actuator that can turn the nose wheel by itself (that's why we need to use the differential breaking). So it's prefectly normal for the nose wheel to remain in a position not aligned to the center line before the aircraft starts moving...

  10. If an aircraft in the far really is represented sololy with a number of pixels, then maybe there could be somekind of calibration. Maybe to display some kind of dots and let the user to adjust it's size on his screen until he can or can not see that dot, then calculate how many dots are needed to present an airplane in different distance based on that result...
  11. By the way there is also a handy option to present speed and altitude with types like on many modern airliners instead of simply jumping digits, maybe it's just me but I persionally find this a much eaiser way to sense the changing rate of those two vital dates! :)
  12. You are not supposed to turn of PAC either! In fact, switch the IFFCC switch to the test mode on the middle, you will see a manual on your HUD and there is a nice display option, in there you can use DATA recker to choose either show or not to show CCIP cross, if you selecte "N" then you should will have that cross hidden :)
  13. Agreed! With a much more accuratly simualted GPS inaccuracy the actually realism has no reason not to be achieved since PMDG has been taking this high a bar as a standard since long time ago!!! :(

  17. Now I finally relized what I have always felt missing in the Mi-8 cockpit! Great job!!!
  18. Would also comes handy if we have a key to toggle radar beam mode on/off instead of one key turning it on and another turning it off. Since it is also done by single switch with on and off positions.
  19. They are different designs for different propose but if I have to choose only one I will go for Ka-50 without hesitation. Rather than the slippery UH-1H the Ka-50 really give you a feel that you are actually "flying" this helo, not to mention the much more power out put. And the sweet automatic trim together with the autopilot just make it so easier to fly. Yes just like Lib said, hold the trim button and release the SAS output when you don't need it and you can get along with the trim just fine :) I'd love to fly the Mi-8 for same reasons though but seems like there are only two chooses here...

  22. That sounds like a really good idea! Instead of trying to make happen in DCS which is impossible, it might be easier to program softwares like Tacview to help visialize your operations afterward.
