  1. Finally! The Yak-52 has been my favorite aerobatic plane ever since I was a young child! DCS needs a prop trainer.
  2. Congratulations! I've always enjoyed your videos!

I know how you feel, but it was more like "check the ball, now your climbing, look outside, your descending, your uncoordinated..." :megalol:
  4. Should just be called "Throttle", look in the axis commands list. I am not 100 percent sure though...

Sorry, I'm not trying to be snarky, I'm just trying to fully understand. Thank you for your help!

But roll adverse yaw is still a factor, which is not a problem most of the time since most (if not all) modern fighters have some sort of automatic yaw input (which most old jets do not have) , which helps, but is still not enough in some cases (e.g. low speed in Su-27 and -33). So, basically it's just aircraft specific, In my opinion at least ;)

I guess I'm just then curious why it doesn't matter to you. I would think it should matter just as much, but I don't have anything to back that up :) Maybe it's less of an issue because lack of p-factor, torque, and propeller slipstream, I don't know. Anyways, practice is coming along nicely, I've found looking over the nose while doing the wiggle excercise very helpful! Thanks again!

So, are you saying that since the ball is offset from the the roll axis the swinging is caused by the ball doing a kind of barrel roll around the roll axis? i guess that makes sense, but i would think that they would be able to design it in a way that it wouldn't give false indications like that. Thanks!

Thanks so much guys! Yeah, I wondered if it was just lack of practice, but wanted to check to make sure :) I too had my eyes opened by a couple hours in a small plane, its amazing the difference in feel between an uncoordinated and coordinated roll! When I get some time for DCS I'll try some of your advice. Thanks again!

Hello, I have been flying sims for years and (lazily) never really payed much attention to coordination in turns and such. The last couple months or so i started getting more serious about flying with precision (finally) and found that i can't keep the ball centered when rolling into a turn ect.. so, i am wondering if you guys have any advice on techniques for practicing? I use CH pro pedals with the detent removed (the detent, not the springs). Is there a definite improvement with high quality pedals (BRD, MFG, Slaw)? I don't use a curve because i fly helicopters also, but i'm open to suggestions. Is it just me, or am i missing something. I know i should probably post a track, which i may do soon. I mainly am asking about the P-51, but i have trouble with pretty much all the planes i fly. Anyways, Thanks in advance!
  12. They have always worked for me, in the axis tune menu when you move the brakes do they move on the indicator? if so, in the a-10 move the camera so you can see the pedals and move them and see if anything happens. Hope this helps!
  13. I'm one of the "few", I'm 18. Just think what DCS will be when i'm in my 40's and the 30 year olds are in their 60s and The black swan is in his 140's :D
  14. Thanks for the update, and looking great!
  15. Oh, thank you, and all this time I thought it was real
  16. I can't wait till ReactOS is usable so we can rid ourselves of microsoft crap forever!
  17. Don't you think the pilot in the video would have the wheel brakes on? (Forgive me if i'm missing something)
  18. Same thing happened to me, I just clicked exit and the window closed, then reopened, then I clicked exit again and the window closed and DCS opened normally.

    Hi guys

    Will be praying for you!
  20. Like i said, I heard, And even if it was a gross exaggeration the point still stands. I will ask you what makes it highly unrealistic? You seem to state it as fact. The entire current world population would fit in about half of Texas with the population density of Paris. Safe landings!
  21. The reason i said that is inevitably someone brings up regulation. I have heard that the entire world population could live and grow all their food in a space the size of Texas in arranged and planned properly (not sure how accurate, but still), so what i'm getting at is the focus should be technology, not depopulation. Safe landings!
  22. Ummm... I'm not sure what you mean. The article is talking about the antarctic. Yes, i saw the mention of the arctic, but that wasn't the focus. What predictions do you not consider sensationalist (i'm not being sarcastic)?
  23. I am DEFINITELY not saying things should stay the same, what i'm saying is that you have to attack it from the right angle. No one disputes climate change, whats disputed is man-made climate change. We should be focusing on self-sufficiency, not giving more power to those who have historically committed the worst crimes against humanity. (I'm not talking to anyone in particular so please don't take offense if i was arguing something you don't believe, I salute you for acknowledging that non of us have a right to impose beliefs on others!) Safe landings!
  24. What is misleading about it? The arctic is not the antarctic. And remember, there have been predictions of the arctic disappearing since at least the 20's, but its still there, albeit smaller. All i'm saying is there is reason to question the theory.
