Yeah, the Dora engine died on me too on several occasions because of overheating.

Yeah - the mini stick feels a bit weird even if it´s working. Haven´t fiddled with it any further though yet. Haven´t had any BSOD yet with the software or driver but then I´m only using it when I´m using the A-10 profile. So far I´ve configured all other planes in DCS itself. I´m using software version 7.0.33.91 and the driver version 7.0.32.81 and my OS is Win 8.1 x64

Mostly for convenience.

Hey - I´ve tried to get it working with the help of a tutorial but I had the same problem. It´s working however with Athlonics profile - just give it a try. The problem with this mod is that it´s in .tga format which was fine in previous verions of DCS whereas after the new update it needs to be a .dds file or it wont work with 1.2.15 Not sure if it´s gonna be updated by the creator of the mod. Gonna send you a PM

If you already have Win7 there is no reason to change - I´d only change if it already came with the new PC. And if you wanna change the OS in the near future I´d wait for Win10

Mit dem letzten Update ist mir aufgefallen, dass die Öltemperatur / Temperatur der Kühlflüssigkeit ziemlich wichtig ist. Wenn das Öl zu kalt ist, kanns sein, dass dir der Motor abraucht. Ansonsten halt auf den Pitch achten - aber da du eh schon auf die Drehzahl achtest, kann das wohl ausgeschlossen werden.

Yeah, but the manual says (you´ve posted it yourself): So at some point you are supposed to let the tail come up and therefore let the stick come forward. As soon as you´ve built up enough speed afterwards you can pull again to gently take off.

When you reach ~150km/h let the stick go back to the center - adjust heading with rudder inputs. TO with about ~180-200km/h and you shouldn´t have a problem with your plane rolling to the left. This happens most likely when you aren´t fast enough at TO.
