So that bit is useful and I think I saw a guy doing exactly that (assigning keyboard keystrokes to buttons in side the profiler) in a YT video. Yes so how do you get the mode switch to work? Can you assign a keyboard keystroke to the mode switch in the profiler, for example LShift and then use the LShift modifier in DCS options to get multiple sets of keybindings?

Guys I really need help hooking up to the KC-130. The biggest problem I'm facing is that the tomcat bobs up or down. I use trim and the pitch to try and dampen it but it doesn't help. The vertical speed indicator needle hardly ever rests at 0. I'm using a wing sweep of 40 in manual mode. Also the HOTAS is the X52 as some of you may know by now.

Currently I'm training on the F-14. I don't have the A-10C2 I have the older A-10C which I hardly ever touched I'm still a bit wary about reinstalling the software and using it. Also will it affect other sims? If fly on X-plane and MSFS too. ....and yes it was the mode switch's potential to provide multiple sets of keybindings that led me to install the logitech software in the first case. Also, if I haven't mentioned here before I'm using the X52 (non-pro).

Yes, I've uninstalled the software. I'm using the DCS key bindings only. I had initially installed it in the hope that I'd be able to utilise the mode switch on my X52 for multiple key combinations but that didn't work.

Oddly enough, my Track IR views aren't working either. I've tried resetting them to default but nothing happens. Alright, got the Track IR working again and have made a DCS profile. I have unistalled the Logitech software. I think it's not my cup of tea. Thanks anyway.

Alright, I tried but the mode selector switch doesn't seem to do anything within DCS. I cleared all key bindings from my profile as you said initially but now when I reload the saved DCS profile I don't get them back. Strange.

Well, I must be doing something wrong as only the profile that I had saved in DCS is loaded even though I followed all the above instructions. Thanks anyway.

The X52 stick really needs a stiffer spring and I need more practice

Can anyone tell me how to make the logitech software work with DCS? I loaded a profile into the software. Then clicked on the crosshair icon. When I clicked on the gear icon, a testing window popped-up but none of my button presses registered except for my logitech mouse. Also, if the logitech profile does get working will the key presses also show up in the DCS options/controls window? Thank you.

Does the mode rotary switch on the X52 stick work as it is intended to in DCS?

Thanks guys. Finally got it working. RShift +\ is the default key bind for both radios while RAlt + \ and RCtrl + \ are for the individual radios. Don't remember which ones but I've mapped the RAlt + \ to a button on my stick. Now the laborious task of practicing Air-to-Air refueling

Does RShift + \ turn on the mic for the radio or is there another switch? I mean how to make sure that I'm talking on the radio and not with the RIO?

Can't contact the tanker. It's radio option is darkened out. Sorry, new to the Tomcat so don't know much about the radios. Any help would be appreciated.

Is the Nevada Instant Action aerial refueling mission broken? I can't get the KC-130 to respond. Its radio option is darkish and say N/A

Yes, I'm eager to know that too. Would like to see the bug fixed (whether it's on ED's side or the mod devs). The price creep on the newer (official) modules gives these freebies a special place in my heart.

I was doing the cold start training mission. I followed the steps and when I pressed the start button the engine spooled up to almost 15% and then it started spooling down. Edit: Okay, found out by fiddling with it. I had to click on the throttle twice.
