  1. Yes there is a problem but it's hard to describe because it is a 3D issue. I have also found that the set view moves over time, in my case the eye view seems offset to the right. I tend to use the center view in VR much as I did in TIR5. repeatedly centering my view especially when rolling in on gun runs and rocket attacks. Eventually my HUD is no longer centered properly and the aiming reticle is no longer centered, either too high or too low. So if no one else is having this problem, then perhaps it is my technique
  2. So it would appear that the view issue is not solved.
  3. Skate: I renamed my current beta saved games, opened beta, closed it,then replaced inputs with a copy from open Alpha (my best setup copy and added my old logbook, thanks to you, all mostly good. A10C position is too far forward. I wonder if the behaviour of non TIR and VR has also changed. To me the it looks like the position is like the older versions, where you open a mission, and view starts forward, then backs up to a reasonable position.
  4. I am on the latest version, also did repair, no change. Also when I open this version without rift or Oculus attached, the head position is really screwed up so I think that may indicate that my corrections via right alt and 0 keypad are being saved, but they are distorted and unusable.
  5. It appears to me that the whole head position issue for VR and TIR has been fundamentally altered and now big issues are happening. It is nearly impossible to use weapons in F86 as each time I start a mission the initial view is different. I adjust the position using the num keys and right shift and ctrl then use right alt and num key 0 to save. Using the new center view system for VR causes my view to then reset to a new even worse position. I have tried turning off the special tab for the F86 with respect to seat position for take off, makes no difference. Also your point of view also alters when selecting Rockets OR Guns on the rotary selector. The controls for saving your head position do not seem to be working for me. Perhaps it is my technic?

  9. The initial position of your head is still not right. My biggest issue is with F-86 start out way too high and forward, also offset to the right and not centered on the joystick if I correct the position then after gear up seat is too low. seat position is usable to fire rockets but when you change over to fire guns can't see the target reticle. I have no mods installed. Anybody else having this issue?

  12. Jar: same for me, set at 2 and much better than stock view and the same as when using the debugging tool. I hope they hot patch to fix the view issues. I can not seem to hit the sweet spot on my own. Really bad in the F-86, can not use the weapons cause the view is so screwed up. P-51, Dora , Huey and Gazelle not too bad but still not as good as before the patch.
  13. You have to remember to blink, otherwise you end up with dry eyes. I have had my rift since last Tuesday. I fly 2 or 3 hrs at a time, no major problem other than the dry eye issue. Took a few eye drops and all good.
  14. Well I have never in my life had motion sickness so I was not concerned. First time I flew a P-51 the take off made me feel almost exactly how I feel taking off in a 172. Same cues about uncoordinated turns, same feel as real life!!!! So if you really want to feel what its like to fly, you are going to Have to fight through :pilotfly:

  16. It would be nice to have a fuller explanation of how the new tools, ie Zoom, center view etc are implemented.

  19. all my games, steam, sdk oculus and oculus all installed ssd drive (D DRIVE) debug tool works for me
  20. but if you update your rift, DCS not ready for 1.5, Right?

  22. Got my rift today, I am totally blown away:) just done some static looking around in DCS. Amazing!!!!! Like Lucky too
  23. well my delivery date is 21 June by end of the day, Sumas Washington so far nothing from UPS since the rift left IL by road on the 17th of June
  24. Krupi got my notice shipping 7 days after my notice of "soon" expect to get my rift tomorrow:smilewink:
