Nereal: your observations about target spotting are a common theme by most users and various mods and labels have been tried all with mixed results. For me the CV1 gives me back the real sensation of flying. The first time I took off, at the moment I pulled back the stick, my stomach dropped, just like it does in a 172. I was hooked!! All aspects of co-ordinated flight are much easier in VR. This is a first generation of commercial VR. When the next generation comes out I suspect we will have a much field of view coupled with much higher resolution. For me I can live with the limitations of the CV1, in fact I do not enjoy flying with track IR anymore. You will have to decide if you can live with it's issues.

My release date is Dec 26th, so when does shipping happen?

On my system 2.2 runs very well on 388.59 but is a nightmare on 1.5.8

I don't think its a NVidia issue cause it happens with drivers going as far back as Aug, version 385.43 that previous ran with no issues in 1.5.6 ad 1.5.7 It is quite variable and can't seem to find a trigger there are no issues with 388.43 and DCS 2.1

I'm having the same issue. Slightly better when using Nvida Driver 388.13 than 388.43 Went back to 385.41 still not stutter, lock screen free. my 2.1 installation is running excellent on all three of these drivers. Never had this issue in 1.5.6 or 1.5.7 although frame rates were slightly lower in .5.6 and 5.7

Lags and frozen screens still occurring in latest update 1.5.8 Excellent performance is 2.1

Having really weird issues with latest build. My view is "attaching to" the cockpit momentarily, sometimes for 10-15 seconds also huge stutters and short lock-ups. I did get a Update on my rift today but my version number 1.20.0.474906 doesn't seem to be different? No issues on other games. Further checks this issue seems to occur mostly in the Harrier, which has screen lockups lasting 10-15 seconds, less severe instances with other modules. I am having no issue in DCS 2. Alpha. All drivers up to date

So now we wait for release 15 Dec and still not firm date for shipping

I don't like their comments about patents submission being part of the reason for delay I will be pleasantly surprised if I get my Gunfighter before 2018

Guys: Emailed Lucy at Wheelstand USA to see if any plans for them to provide a joystick Adapter for the VKB Gunfighter Joystick. She checked with the Manufacturer and there are no plans right now to provide one. So guess we will have to either make our own or find someone to build one for us

no one else is experiencing this? I can not use this aircraft in 2.1.1. which is very frustrating. View in 1.5.7 is Okay I have uninstalled the module I have deleted the key set up in User saved game, nothing helps Are the moderators looking at these postings

when the Warthog was released there was no one in the flight sim community, other than Cockpit builders, who envisioned putting extenders on the joystick or taking the base-plate off. If you use a Super Wheel-Stand Pro to mount your Joystick and throttle you will have a new base-plate Provided by them

I have been having issues with Cockpit starting position ever since I reset the seat position last week. I fly using Oculus Rift. Initially all was good now when I start a mission my view is right up against the Hud. The keys for adjusting the head position are no longer working most of the time. After restarting several times the keys again start working and I reset the starting position and saved it. Next time I started the mission right back to position wrong and keys not working. This issue is kind of like the sound in cockpit issue in that occasionally happens. In both instances the issue happens can't be fix then goes back to working properly
