  1. Still present after latest update
  2. Sith: Thanks buddy
  3. I know that, It says at the top Normandy Map and under that, lists type of a/c but does not list the selection for the Map itself. My contribution DOES entittle me to the Map for free :music_whistling: I am wondering how they are going to distribute our keys
  4. I would assume that ED has a list of "Qualified" backers that they will be giving the map to. Normandy Map is not listed at this time as a "checkable option" on the ED site.
  5. so how do I "pre-purchase" if I am a qualified backer?
  6. it's like sea sickness, some people never suffer from it, some people have mild symptoms and get over it, or an unlucky few never get over it. I'm lucky to be in the group that doesn't get any symptoms. I don't have any problems reading gauges in the aircraft and the feeling of flight actually improves my situational awareness
  7. I see no framerate increase between 1.5 to 2.0 which is odd?
  8. using two sensors, front facing setup, absolutely no issue with on single player
  9. Skate: flew with new oculus runtime in 1.5.6 beta for two hrs without issue, also flew in 2.0.5 for another hr all good. I seem to be among the few lucky ones without issue other than the warning issue about my usb 3.0 hubs drivers
  10. Already am one:music_whistling:
  11. Sith, you're up early, did you have to dig out several times like I did over the Christmas break?

You have, at least to my old ears, to have captured the best engine sound for the P-51!
  13. mostly works for all a/c My only issue is the ongoing problem with disappearing com menu in F86
  14. It appears that the mouse no longer works inside the cockpit you must use head tracking to put the crosshairs on a switch, then click with your mouse, not very workable at thispoint
  15. Spoke to Lucy in Texas. They are the North American distributors for Wheelstand. She has orders for the Super Hotas Units but as yet has no information on just buying the extensions. She is looking into it.
  16. The link for ordering just an extension for the throttle not working for me
  17. I agree, had to reboot my computer then try again, finally worked
  18. had the same experience with every thing staying same distance from your view, so that when you lean in, cockpit moves back, keeping the same distance. It is the sensor. you can reset it and all will be good.
  19. Yup they have fixed the VR issue with the lastest patch, all is good in DCS Land!
  20. never mind figured it out, it was the rift sensor not reading properly. rebooted rift, seems to be okay now
  21. no talking about zoom, used to be able to lean into the instrument panel or lean closer to the canopy, no longer everything is at a fixed distance if I physically move towards an object the distance stays the same
  22. Anybody else notice you can no longer lean closer to the instruments in cockpit. every thing is a fixed distance now. occurs in 1.5.5 and 2.0.4
  23. this doesn't seem to seem to work for me
  24. I am somewhat concerned that the last few patches have an such a negative effect on VR. Now with 2.4 it is totally unplayable with the Oculus with frame rates around 13-27 even with pixel density turned way down to 1.4 from 2.2. In fact, changing pixel density seems to have no effect on frame rates. I also installed the newest "hot fix" driver from Nvidia which made no difference in DCS. performance in 1.5.5 or 2.4. When I run 2.4 with my TIR frame rates at Nellis, in Huey mission are 140. I would say that the issue lays within the Oculus runtime version 1.10 in particular the ASW function and our inability to turn it off, etc. Hopefully this issue will get some priority
  25. Nvidia put out a "hot fix" today, tried it, no improvement with DCS Alpha :(
